I'll thinking about going to these from the AirPod Pros. The APPs simply don't stay sealed in my ears even with the slightest movements. I've got these after-market silicone "wings" that help a lot, but I have to remove them (and not lose them) to use the charger case. Grrrr.

I have both, and for me APPs are excellent. These BFPs are just a bit more functional. Maybe they sound x% better but not by much. The physical buttons and rock solid fit is worth it for me (I do a lot of cycling and HIIT workouts).

Honestly though, it’s kinda nice not having the obvious Apple stems hanging out your ears sometimes. Some days I think that’s cool, some days I’m not so keen.

Maybe I'm a minority, but I wouldn't use a Beats product if they were given to me. Right on craigslist they'd go.
Speak for yourself I love my beats fit pro
Same for the powerbeats pro
GREAT WORKOUT EARPHONES AND THE FIT PRO IS A LEVEL ABOVE

For me, if I'm watching a movie and chew a bite of popcorn, the APP's just about fall out of my ears. 😆

There's also a bug that needs addressed. If you have two BFPs near two phones, they can accidentally connect to the wrong one if it's on the same account.

FWIW, I just recently got the older PowerBeats Pros (earhook style). The way they stay put and don't move is straight up incredible... after years of rocking $30 Amazon chinese no-names, holy crap night and day... they sound way better as well, obviously. I wish I bought them years ago. I'm curious to try the new Fits, but I am accustomed to the earhooks so I stuck with that.
I have personally found the inner-"hooks" on the Beats Fit Pro to be superior on every level. And I looooved my PowerBeats Pro. Having zero interaction with glasses/sunglasses is very nice. They hold in place without ANY issue. They are totally comfortable. I am soooo happy with them. :) My first earbuds with ANC. Ho-lee-shyte.

I got the update here. Bummer though, looks like ‘conversation boost’ feature didn’t make it over from the APP’s. Maybe those APP’ stems are needed. Oh well . . . . I still LOVE the BFP’s! Maybe next update.

Firmware won't fix them. I own the whole lineup of Beats wireless buds from first to last and unlike the rest which are pretty good in most aspects these are as much "pro" as I am a f***ing ballerina.

As a personal preference, I settled on the Beats Fit Pro because it fits better in my ear. Everyone’s ear shape is different and there really isn’t a one size AirPods fits all. I had the original AirPods and those fit fine in my ears but I wanted the features of the AirPods Pro. I tried the AirPods Pro but none of the ear tips kept the AirPods Pro from falling out of my ear. The wings on the Beats Fit Pro really helps keep them in my ear. Only gripe with the Beats is the design and build quality of the case. I wish they had reenforced the hinge with metal like they do on the AirPods and not plastic.

I have had AirPods Pro for a while, and while they stay in “okay” if I’m not moving around much (just walking, etc) they don’t stay in properly if I’m more active (e.g. exercise or home improvement tasks). I considered Powerbeats Pro but I like the ANR option too much - especially if I’m using power tools. The Beats Fit Pro stay put better than the AirPods Pro, and they seem to have ~50% more battery life (of course they’re 2 years newer, so that might affect battery). But they’re not quite as comfortable - and the charging case is a bit trickier to use “on the go” than the AirPods; I’ve put the AirPods case into an aftermarket holder & it clips right on my belt loop (not practical with the Beats “pancake” style case). Beats also don’t have wireless charging so that’s one more cable on the nightstand.

Overall I’m pleased with both of them, and I switch back & forth quite a bit. If I had to choose “Just one” it’d be tricky… but probably the Beats would get the nod.

They do have the conversation boost feature and always have had. It is called Live Listen (at least I assume that is what you are talking about).

I used to think this, but really like the Fit Pro.
I also have/use AirPods Pro, but have to use the adapters to keep in my ears, and it's annoying to keep track of them.

Those are completely different features. Live listen is where you can leave your phone in a room and listen to the conversation in that room with your AirPods or Beats. Conversation boost is where the microphones boost the sound of a person in front of you by using the mics in the tips of the AirPods.

Yes! Couldn’t have said it any better myself. I wonder why BFP doesn’t have this feature? I hope they add it in the future, it really helps with hearing loss . . . . more so than ‘Live Listen’.

Minority for a reason - Beats Fit Pro are the best earpods on the market bar none if you're into any sort of sport, and definitely top the league for any other use.

How are they for phone calls? I know a couple of people that had the PowerBeats Pro and they were so bad they returned them. When I would FaceTime audio with my brother, I'd immediately know when he was using them. The microphones in them are terrible.

Calls are okay - more background noise than APP and other noise-cancelling headsets.
My Jawbone ERA was great - but the Bluetooth radios burned out pretty quickly. It even blocked noise of a jet overhead at the airport...

I think the mics are in the AirPod Stems

I had the PBP for a couple of years and used them extensively on calls because of remote working and never had any issues or complaints. I average 45-55 meetings a week and 10-15 of them would be on the PBP. They were great headphones.

The BFP I use in place of the PBP and again, no issues or complaints. Obviously I can not hear me or what noise is being cut out but no one has commented on it.

To the person saying they would never use Beats products, that's narrow minded. It's like Android users moaning about Apple users, best to try the product and decide on it's merits - not the label on it. The BFP are fantastic, all the benefits of APP plus, longer battery life, sound and stability in the ear. Market leaders atm. Going to be interesting to see what the APP 2's bring as they need to improve on the BFP now.
