Yeah that battery fix definitely worked. Phew!

battery drain is a classic introduced since apple watch series 9 release to make people upgrade. This was the same last year.

After a while they fix it.

Still doesn't fix the fully charged notification no longer appearing on iPhone
I have had this all the time - Always charge my watch before going to bet to put it on to track sleep so use the notification quite a lot.

Yeah but this time the S10 has been absolutely terrible for some as well - my mom got a brand new 42 mm. and even days without a workout she sometimes could not make it from 100% in the morning to bed time without it dying.

The battery drain in 11.0 is caused by the live activities. It made my Ultra 1 hit 0% in less than 12 hours. After disabling the live activities in the smart stack, it's back to normal. Not sure if 11.0.1 fixes this.

Apple it just works! Yep really hard and drains your battery. Actually all jokes aside I find I often have fewer problems with restarts if I switch off the device before doing an update then switch on then do the update. Then switch the device off then on again. I’ve noticed no problems with the ultra 2 either with 11 or 11.0.1 though I admit it’s prob too soon to tell with 11.0.1. Please don’t for one moment think I’m diminishing other people’s experiences. If you’ve got a battery issues you’ve got a battery issue. Perhaps I’ve been lucky.

I have never seen this notification in my life and the 10 years of me using AW. Where can one go to see the settings for this notification?

Go into the watch app on the phone. Then go to Sleep and make sure Charging Reminders is turned on. It will tell you if you need to charge before bed and will tell you when the watch is fully charged.

Mine is turned on and tells me to make sure my watch is charged more than 30% before bed to track my sleep, but it stopped telling me when it was charged to 100%, so I look at the battery percentage on my lock screen for the percentage.

I had the battery drain issue from about day 3. Apple performed diagnostics. Found nothing wrong. Told me to unpair and pair again

That did fix it for a few days. But it returned until I repeated the unpairing

on day 14 (yesterday), i took it back to apple for a replacement. now applied the update

other issue I found was celluar (on O2). I could be sat in the same spot, and it would flit between connected no connection. So when I returned it, I opted for non cellular as I was probably paying for something I rarely use anyway

But notifications like from WhatsApp pop up without any vibrations whatsoever. Weird how this is not more talked about. Are the haptics working normally as they should for you guys?

Well my AW Ultra 2 didn’t have any drain until this release.
Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t.
Or maybe it’s both: intention and incompetence 😂
