I'm just curious as to why you needed to make such a mean spirited comment. I, and many more than 10 people, love the watch. You don't. That's fine. Have a nice day.

bah guys we gotta do better in ignoring these comments out right thats all he wanted IMO was all of the above reactions

but since 1 was already said

the 3.5-12M (lmao) that apple hasn't reported in sales

i guess if you think about it thats close to 3 people

with the whole space time continuum Pythagorean theorem thing we are really just 1 being in a universe of infinity

^^^^^That made about as much sense as the original writers comment of 10 people owning an Apple Watch.

Has he looked around? They're in every music video, tv show, and on every young adult/teenage wrist i've seen recently.

Now the 10+ people with the Apple Watch can enjoy it a little more before they realize they got stiffed...
Hey, since the OP has counted and there's only a dozen or so of us, we ought to get to know each other better. Ought to be easy enough to remember than many first names. Hi, I'm Carl.

Very happy with my Apple Watch, BTW. Not the best computer ever, but definitely the most informative and accurate watch I've ever had.

Apple Watches are popping up everywhere here (Italy).

It basically looks a lot like the adoption rate of the iPhone 3G (the first available here).

Hi Carl, I'm Matthew. I too am very happy with my Apple Watch. I've never worn a watch before, so I was hesitant, but now I can't leave the house without it! It is especially useful at work and school.

What gives you that impression? I'd think implementing new emojis would actually require less resources than bigger features. Also, *lots* of people use emojis, especially younger people.

Because it's a main bullet point of the update. Had emojis been a side note along with other larger features, I'm betting he wouldn't think that.

I've had a couple of issues where both my watch and phone batteries drain fast. A reboot of both fixes the problem but hopefully this update fixes the problem. And I agree that if you have 50% or more battery you should be able to do the update without the cable. I too hate waiting until I get home.

connected to wifi on phone, watch on charger and charged, downloads the update, then i get can't install because not connected to the internet.
Keep getting "Unable to verify update the watchOS update couldn't be verified because you are not connect to the internet"

Shrug. Why is this such a challenge Apple??

That's silly and completely uninformed. You really don't understand, do you? Emoji are a tiny piece of the update. It's just more visible. Some on, man. You really do understand that, don't you? You're just trying to be contrary, correct?

o_O What the hell are you talking about ?

Point in case:

I see ' emojis ' being mentioned at every update. Check!
I don't see it being a critical feature. Check!
I, based on my observation, say it's silly.

Do I care if it's a tiny or huge update ? or what goes on behind the scenes ? No!

I suggest you get some fresh perspective on life, and not take everything you read online at face value.

Awesome!

Seriously, people like this guy have no idea what they are talking about. Talk a big game until it's time to come from behind the keyboard

This. Anyone making comments like that guy did will never have anything interesting to add to the conversation. Ignore these folks. It makes the forums a lot more pleasant.
You're right. I just get tired of these type of people always raining on someones happiness.

Put this in the whine department. Don't know where else to post...

Just replaced my iPhone 6 with a 6s. Did a full back up. Got the new 6s up and running pretty quick - no problem. However, all of my credit cards in my Wallet (except the one that was "selected") got cancelled and in order to re-establish a connection with my Apple Watch, I had to reset my Watch. Of course I lost the one Credit Card on my Watch. Upgrading iPhones should be smoother than that. Had to reset the Bluetooth connection with my car, but expected that. Don't understand why the Watch has to be reset.

Unpair your Watch before backing up your phone - the unpairing process offloads a backup of your Watch's data to your iPhone, and then backup your phone to the iCloud OR backup to iTunes using encrypted backup. Restore the encrypted backup to your new phone, and pair your Watch with the new phone. Without the encryption, all your passwords, health data etc. will not be carried to your new phone.

This is the process you should've taken. A stupid process of course, I don't know why the Apple Watch doesn't periodically back itself up to the iPhone.

I learnt this when I wasn't sure what to do with the Watch, googled and found many articles talking about that.

Has 2.0.1 been pulled? Downloaded last night but below 50% battery so couldn't install. This morning, "WatchOS 2.0 up to date"

Yeah, I'm going to wait on this. The last update took about 4 hours. What annoys me is that several FB Messenger messages that I've replied to on my Watch didn't work. The animation went through as if it were sent but when I checked my phone it wasn't there. Double checking your phone kind of defeats the purpose. They should really just put a mini keyboard on this thing, Siri isn't accurate enough or convenient in public places and customizing our canned replies is far too limited.

Just because you can't afford the Apple watch doesn't mean you need to act jealous to the people who can. It's not nice when you really really want something that you can't afford but you need to be mature about these things.

Frustrating that my iPhone needs to be on wifi to download the 60Mb update! No wifi here at work, so I'm stuck waiting until I get home.

It's just in the list, that list is not in any particular order. You're making a mountain out of a molehill...
