One thing I wish they would fix, and this is an intended behavior, is Number Sync with ATT.

Anytime you take the sim out of your device, you have to re-enable WiFi calling on that phone, and, re-link your watch to your cellular account. Really frustrating for those of us that own multiple phones, and want to switch devices from time to time.

Being that its from launch day, its definitely a used battery.

Yes...I was replying to a poster who suggested battery life on the S0 was worse than normal on watchOS 4.0 but I haven't found my battery to be much different to when it was running the previous OS version. I understand my S0 has a very used battery.

This is definitely an S3 LTE only release, no sign of it for my S0 and other reporting no update for other models.

I'm aware. I was merely adding context, as the original poster may not connect the dots. Some people don't realize battery decay is a thing and just blame everything on software.

It was on my S0, which I've since sold when I got my S3. And it wasn't half an hour, closer to 2 hours. As I said, "half of forever".
Misread that, my bad, but overall it still doesn't make sense. You can't compare X.0 build on an S0 to a X.x.1 build on an S3. X.0 builds are massive updates and its on a much, much slower device. I know you are just trying to get feedback from others, just your comment was written in a confusing manner.

would hope this will fix my terrible battery on Series 0, but not holding my breath

try unpairing and setting up as a new watch. made it a little better for me, but it's still worse than before. but, again, much better than what they did with the 5s where even the torchlight now uses much more power than the week before updating - which doesn't make any sense at all.

No sign of it on my Series 3 GPS model (yet).
Its only for LTE verisons
[doublepost=1507143565][/doublepost]Installed didnt take to long and to be fair never had this issue but glad apple was quick to patch it for the people that had issues

Will the Verge and other sites re-test the Watch and update their ratings?

Yes, and The Verge score will be 7.5, just a hair above the Fitbit smartwatch, which is a not so good product. Mark my words.

They’re into an all out anti-Apple crusade.

i don't think it's going to help you might have missed this in the article. ( the update, the Apple Watch must have 50 percent battery, it must be placed on the charger, and it must be in range of the iPhone. Today's update is only for the Apple Watch Series 3 models.)

How did 4.0 take a half hour on your S3 as it would have come with 4.0.
Anyone install this yet? Wondering how long it takes... the 4.0 install took half of forever, and if possible I'd like to squeeze it in during an hour when I'm already planning not to wear the watch.
Once downloaded to my phone, only took about 15-20 minutes to install on watch. S3 w/cellular.

I’m having a strange issue where if I only have the Watch (leaving the phone on at home) and I send an sms it says “undeliverable” but the person does actually get it. Not sure why it’s saying/doing that.

Do all Series 3 get this, or only GPS+Cellular?

4.1 is only at beta 1, or are you referring to beta 2? That will be next week with the rest of X.1 beta 2s.

was hoping because the nike model is releasing this week that 4.1 would be available this week. apple touted a feature that isnt available yet, and its a feature i really want (the music streaming).

watchOS 4.1 requires iOS 11.1. They will all ship at the same time. They also advertised Peer-2-Peer Apple Pay and iCloud Message syncing. Things take time. There was no release date given for Apple Watch Apple Music. Just later this year.

I'm hoping it comes with a few fixes for my S2. Just needs some tightening up.
This update is only for S3 LTE.

Since 4.0 came out.
Probably coincidence. I have zero issues with my S0 on watchOS 4.0 and its almost a year old (was replaced by Apple). If yours is close to launch day, its definitely the battery. You could unpair and repair, but that will unlikely make a difference.
