@Kyle, of course, and after downloading I installed it as well 😉You have to download the update on your watch.

Finally South Africa is getting the ECG and irregular heartbeat notifications. Next Apple Pay!
The gps S3’s have only 8gb of storage, half of that is used up by the OS. If you have music and/or photos stored on the watch, try deleting some of those. Otherwise, I hate to say it, but you may need to wipe the watch and start over with a fresh install.Mine says it needs 2.2GB to install, yet my AW3 only has 928MB free. 2.2GB seems like a lot.
I went into usage on the watch app, and the largest app is only using 75MB. Nothing is very large in the list. No way I can free up 2.2GB, let alone that in and of itself would fill up the AW.
It says 3.8GB in use. No way that all the apps listed in usage equal even 300MB.

Finally! Now time to go buy a brand new BMW!
My series 3 is saying the same thing. My largest app by some margin (Mail) only takes up 100mb with no photos, music or podcasts that can be easily thrown away. I’d have to delete a lot of apps to install this. Never had this issue before. Did you manage to solve it?Mine says it needs 2.2GB to install, yet my AW3 only has 928MB free. 2.2GB seems like a lot.

Yes, was just about to post that I was able to update after rebooting the Watch. Available storage went from 500mb to 2.5gb just doing that. Go figure.Same issue with my AppleWatch Series3. A reboot of the watch fixed the issue for me.
I tried the reboot, and checked usage after reboot. Not much change. About 1.0GB available but I tried the update and it was successful (after a long time). Post-update, I checked usage and it shows 2.9GB available and only 1.9GB used.Yes, was just about to post that I was able to update after rebooting the Watch. What justification is there for limiting Carkey support to Series 5 and not at least including Series 4?
A lot of folks assert that Apple does this to force upgrades. I suspect it’s more like, they think it works perfectly on the new hardware (which is slightly different), and they’re uninterested in putting in extra time to make it work (what they consider) not quite as well on older hardware, so it becomes a feature on/for the new model only.Or as others have said, it is hardly unheard of for Apple to make features exclusive to current models when older models are more than capable of running them.
