Apple's severs are most likey getting hammered by the IOS13 update. Apple may stagger and release WatchOS later in the day.

I think this is the most exciting update aong with ipad os for me. Except the dark mode on ios 13, I don't care for too much.

Also, I updated to iOS 13.1 Public Beta 4 and I still can't get the WatchOS 6 update to trigger...

I don't think it has as much to do with 13.1 as it has to do with ver 6 latest already being on the watch and even after removing the profile. I wonder if there is a way to force the update. I also wonder if the new watch incoming will be able to setup the new from 6 beta to 6 release?

Since I need to update my phone first, I will have to wait at least an hour (according to download estimate). It went from 7 hours to 2 hours to 1 hour. It's been about 20 minutes.

You can't restore the watch by yourself. Anyway, the GM version of the watch is the final version, so don't worry at all. The R thing may be because their difference of generations.

Anyone on WatchOS 17R575 build will not get this release as it's build is 17A575 (it's an older build number).

Their servers are probably getting hammered, I can't even manually backup to iCloud, it gets stuck for me at "Updating iCloud"

yeah but they are releasing ios 13.1 beta before watch os release... so I dunno who planned this???

The forums are a better place to get news than the front pages. Haha. Never would have guessed that lol.
I have more respect for posts after something occurs and is factual instead of putting it out first. Or maybe even say coming today and out the release notes and then publish updated, it’s now out kinda like they did the beta posts.
This was just not posted very accurately.
