My series 3 still won‘t charge every now and then when put on apples original charger. Such a bummer.

My series 4 was charging fine with a 3-in-1 charger until this update - now it flashes on and off charging every few seconds. This seems to happen more if the phone is charging too, so perhaps it’s not getting enough power?

Installed update. Still won’t charge with my Amazon charger. Just flickers between charge, Watch face, enter lock code, and dings over and over and over again.
Mine too.I am in the UK and have been in contact by phone to the Ireland CEO office. They said this 8.4 was coming by the end of the month and should fix the problem. It has not.

This update installed without issue on my series 5. I haven't (yet) noticed any major differences so far from watchOS 7. The overlay screens (notifications) appear to be a bit more translucent. I haven't had the update long enough to comment on battery life, but so far so good. One annoyance which I haven't taken the time to fix is Siri now feels like she should tell me mileage and pace while doing activities... that isn't necessary Siri! Other than that, I am happy with the update.

This didn’t fix anything. My S7 still sometimes takes forever to charge using included cable and Apple 20W adapter. Unbelievable lol

I have a 3-in-1 charger and, after updating my Apple Watch Series 7 with this latest watchOS update, the watch charger is still not working. So, for me at least, this update did not fix the issue.

When placed on the charger, the watch face indicates it is charging, but about a minute or two later, that goes away and the regular watch face appears.
Somehow I would like to broadcast this everywhere.
We have until Jan 31st to send back our series 7 watches
I have done this today. Told UK 08000480408 that my Watch was under 3 months old. Was charging perfectly for a month until 8.3 update. Has been defective for 2 months since.
They said no matter what reason refund will be issued.
Have started a return.

My watch charger is still not working, this update did not fix the issue.
You have until Jan 31st to set up return and refund. I have done that becsuse the last 2 months I have been told repeatedly to have my 7 Watch remotely OSdiagnosed when there is nothing wrong with Watch.
I have set up return and have bought another one.
Reason they will have to accept that something needs to be done if the brand new Watch has the same problems and it will

My series 7 is under 3 months old.
It charged ok on any charger and lead in the house. Charger lead stayed in box as no point in it.
Ok for just a month out of the 3 I have had it.
Found that I could return for refund for any reason until Jan 31st. So have done that today. I have bought another and is coming before I have to send the old back.
This means they cannot bang on about it might be something wrong with my Watch and take this seriously

Got the new one 1st Feb. Still will not charge on any of the dozens of previous series Apple Watch wall chargers and their USB A leads as promised by Tim Cook and Lisa Jackson in Apple Park Sep 15 2020

This has now been from Dec 13th 2021 update 8.3 which stopped what she promised and still the same today despite 8.4 which rolled out Jan 26th when apple admitted 8.3 had prevented using old chargers being able to be used again. NOT. Nor 8.4.1
