Some think all apps will still work, wrong, Whatsapp announced a couple of months ago that you have to consent with the popup, if you don't it will stop working, back then they lost a lot of subscribers to Signal and Telegram, they backtracked fairly quickly just to announce again that it will stop working at a later time.
If that's the case then for me it's....Byebye Whatsapp.

If you look at the details but from a cynics perspective, even then Apple will have less gain from being dishonest.
If it became clear that Apple facilitate cross-app tracking, it will be detrimental to their sale of their devices. And by denying the income that “free” apps get from selling user data to big data companies, it means they have to make an income somewhere else. The most obvious choice will be to charge what the app actually is worth instead of giving it away under false pretenses. And guess who takes a cut of the sales of apps on the App Store?
Yeah, Apple checks on others but who checks on Apple?

You wonder why none of this applies to iMessage! Apple attitude is only they can track you.

I’d rather stay on the iPhone and have 95% of the apps vanish than sell my soul in order to use a specific app.
Exactly, I am with you on that. I have no desire to use any apps that Apple has not at least vetted somewhat. I know they missed a couple but nobody is perfect

iOS 14.5 to be released along side Air Power and it must be true because Jon Prosser says it's so.

Also, a smaller notch is coming along with 14.5. Don't know how, just know it's coming.

Interesting question which doesn’t directly concern my post. But anyone can check network activity. Tracking data to be valuable must necessarily be sold at some point, so following the marketplaces is a basic strategy to keep accounts on the checks.

Just had this on the MailOnline . They can think again if I’m going to enable it .
