They removed the remote, prices are still the same (Sweden). The worst part is that the remote counts as BTO, i.e. delays the shipping a lot since it has to be "built" in China. You could order it separately though, but the whole thing is just silly.
 
What... does that have to do with anything that we've been talking about?

well, its relevant in the fact that apple is no longer including the remote and could possibly stop including other "extras"

but to answer the question, which i had the same one earlier, is that the dvi-vga is still included with the pro, and previously wasnt and still isnt included with the macbook

You're better off just ordering separately. You at least also get the box for it - which from a collector's standpoint is at least something...
 
I always thought the remote was kind of crappy compared to the machines they came with. Lets hope this is a sign Apple has something in the works down the road.
 
I thought Apple was heading to the "green" direction. Not including the remote saves a lot of plastic.

That could also mean that they're developing a Bluetooth remote for next release (please do!), or too many people have complaint about extra useless remotes they get from docks, Apple TV, iMac/MB.
