agreed.Guys, I know this is a really newbie type question, but is there anyway to watch Apple TV shows from a Mac? Or are they only available on AppleTV?
Thanks,

Exactly. Completely agree. But notice Sony is in no danger of going out of business. And they even still make some products that inspire, like their cameras, and possibly still some TVs, and some good movies now and then. So there's the MECHANISM that is the Apple Corporation, and there's the joy that the customers feel, and those two aren't necessarily linked. After all, look how happy Apple customers were a decade ago when Apple was not so successful. The main danger is we transition all the way to full Microsoft-like customers, where we absolutely hate the products, but still mostly have to use them anyway because there's no real alternative.
I would add that the Apple Machine began to decline 8 or 10 years ago, and they have been coasting on inertia and old ideas. And things Steve was working on before he passed.
When those old ideas inevitably peter out, Apple will find out that it's Accountant King failed to plant the seeds of the next great world-changing paradigms.
This is similar to Sony's experience. Which is why they are now a shell of their former selves...a zombie, doomed to plod along making versions of the same ideas you can find at other vendors. Eventually divesting of what used to be core business areas altogether.
Sound familiar?
