do you have the data to back that up? I think Apple would know just a smidge more.

Why would I Need to provide data for something I interjected my opinion on? Could I ask you the same question indicating data of those who are not interested? Yet, you wouldn’t have the data to prove otherwise.

And let’s not have any false modesty, I think it’s very clear the primary consumer in relation to Apple is about purchasing their products and services first versus Carpool Karaoke, Let alone how many are aware of Carpool karaoke to begin with. I don’t think anybody needs “Data” to understand that. I think your argument is moot even requesting something yourself not knowing what the demographic is for this type of entertainment.

Tim Cook is doing a great job.

I wouldn't mind if they made a show called Carpool Karaage.

Agree. Who gives a crap about this stupid series. People watching rich, shallow celebrities doing rich, shallow things in a car. Can we grow up please?

Exactly - they tried to brainwash us all into being vapid narcissists. But the brainwashing is wearing thin.

Useless bubblegum comedy from the company afraid to make a TV show with a curse word.

Agreed but profanities are no more authentic.

Wow, every Show Apple announced yet is just cringeworthy in my opinion. As if they wouldn't even care to compete 0_o

I already can see myself telling my (possible) kids in 20 years who find an old iPhone I the attic:" yeah, that was really cool stuff apple made in the past, until they turned into a media and content hell of a company. Oh, and that was the homepod, but it's a paperweight since everything apple needs airplay 6 now and the first hp isn't supported in any way or shape since 15 years

Sorry, maybe I'm exaggerating, but it's just that apple disappoints me soooo much since ~5 years. And I don't need any apologist to tell me how great it actually is. I think it isn't.

If somebody truly still can be thrilled with their products and agenda, than I envy that person and am happy for him/her.

They’re just easily amused or sheepish fanboys - or paid supporters or stock manipulators.

I still can't get my head around why any company would show/promote ANYONE laughing, singing, messing around when they are SHOWN to be in control of a motor-vehicle travelling down the road, when they are supposed to be concentrating on driving, being able to brake or react in a fraction of a second when a child runs out in front of their car, and not having fun in the middle of a song at the time.

Even if it's fake, which I am assuming it is, and they are being pulled/towed by another vehicle and they are just pretending to drive the car.
It's still a very poor choice for a supposed responsible company such as Apple to show people doing this.

Apple should encourage safety behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, not messing around.

It's really odd why Apple Execs thing this is a great idea to show the general public, many of which will think that are really driving, and this is fine behavior when behind the wheel.

So true. But still I value this Cook's contribution over any other

I love Apple Music and have went digital on movies/TV shows through Apple. But their exclusives suck for my tastes. I’ve never heard anything decent on Beats 1. No interest in current or future videos. Exclusive albums in 2004 were better... major artists used iTunes Store as a tool to make Grammy deadlines.

The worst part is iTunes Match wrecked my library, playcounts, playlists, etc. I don’t have the guts to turn on Apple Music cloud library, it seems too similar

I'd rather scratch an itch in my bits with a rusty razor. It would be less painful.

As someone from England, where we're all a bit more reserved, watching these people make tw@ts of themselves on camera makes my skin crawl! Apple could still make entertaining programmes, but ones that have a scientific or artistic value or thinking behind them, like Mythbusters, Horrible Histories (for kids). This is just so disposable, it rots the soul.

We have to remember that Apple user base is not just fans! There are millions of people who use it just because its a good phone and whatever. I'm sure they made their marketing research before doing that.

I always love the comments like "stop doing this [thing I'm personally not interested in] and concentrate on putting effort into [product I'm interested in]"

a) Get over yourself.
b) It's like you think Apple only have about 10 staff, and they work on one thing at a time......

We don't have data on either end. Apple has plenty enough money to throw around; even if something is failing. We won't know until they've lost too much to be worth it.

Who are they renewing this for? Does anyone like it? Anything about celebrities makes me not give a rats a$$.

I know its hard to believe there are people who - gasp! - might enjoy things that you don't.

Or who - gasp! - just enjoy a little bit of light entertainment sometimes.

Like it or not, a lot of people have enjoyed CK, which presumably is why Apple bought it off Corden.

Maisy and Sophie doing Wrecking Ball might still be my favourite. :p

To anyone reading this, its probably worth pointing out that actually no - we're certainly not *all* a bit more reserved.

One ting I hate is this idea that just because people enjoy a bit of light entertainment guilty pleasure sometimes, it doesn't mean they're not interested in more serious stuff too.

This attitude always seems to be 'Hey! We should have more of the serious stuff I like, and none of the disposable stuff!' as though people can only ever be interested in one or the other. Its just snobby nonsense.

This whole thing with Apple, seemingly more than any other company, being expected by some to take personal responsibility for everyone and everything is just getting ridiculous. Its like the whole non story of the marks HomePods are leaving on oiled wood. Things have been leaving marks on oiled wood since forever, but suddenly is this whole story because its Apple. Its utter nonsense.
