Being super nice to the rep paid off- to all of those still processing/preparing to ship, (i am processing still), perhaps MAYBE there is a classic Apple 'one more thing...' moment on the way in the form of a fedex truck! So far all deliveries i have read about have been UPS

Maybe UPS is the exception and that's why so few?

For reference, one of these chat reps said earlier the watch is made in America. Not true.

Now one is saying it's more likely your watch will be delivered via FedEx, while not even a single watch has been shipped with that.

they just don't know.

I'm almost sure we aren't actually talking to a real person on Apple Chat.

I don't see how the carrier makes any real difference. My charger is arriving tomorrow via UPS. Watch is still in processing.

I do have to admit... they are way too bubbly and positive and thankful of everything when I talk to them. Either they are bots, or they have a canned response to almost everything, or they are just a very cheery lot.

What got me is the guy "Jeff" I was talking to did make a typo. I'm sure he's programmed that way. Nobodys perfect.

Has anyone that order in the first 4 minutes not seen their watch change from processing to preparing to ship?

Seems strange that all the first orders would be one through UPS and the rest through FedEx.

Yes- 3:01 and 37 seconds, still processing- 38 mm sg sport

How can we get more info out of your former coworkers :)

I can tell you from working at the company for many years, we were not given any insider information that is not already available to the public. In other words, we don't know anything the general public doesn't already have at their own disposal on Apple's public website. If you get an advisor who tells you something nice but probably isn't true (in other words, to appease you), it's likely so they'll get a good customer survey rating from you in return. :)

I can also tell you that anyone who emails Tim Cook gets contacted by a dedicated team (a fairly large team) called the Executive Relations (ER) team, whose sole job is to respond to those customers who email Tim, and work to resolve the issue as best they can (ER doesn't have the ability to move an order up in the process, so please don't try and email them asking to be moved up).

Not sure what I just read. Other than a rep saying he didn't know how your item would be shipped. And that if there were any changes, they would let you know. :(
