I came across a watch with a built in blood pressure system. It actually has a little cuff around the wrist it inflates! Wonder if this sort of thing Apple will use? Didn’t know this watch existed till I saw it in some You Tube video.

Good find.

This could be a third party accessory. Apple would have to implement smart bands, which is what they need to do anyway.

Apparently you can’t actually buy one. The link to buy now goes to a missing page on Apple’s website.
You're right! Can't find it but here are some products that may be similar; $6k Pro Display XDR, $200 VESA mount. 😆

The Apple Watch would then show a user how their blood pressure is trending, but would not be able to provide a baseline systolic and diastolic blood pressure measurement, leading some Apple employees have to raise questions with managers over the usefulness of the feature.
Knowing blood pressure trends without knowing exact measurements could help people attempting to practice concentrated and continual techniques related to controlling tension and managing deep breathing. Sounds like a great idea. Maybe Apple can make it work.

They should explore putting a miniaturised version of the Smart Connector on the bands!

Blood pressure measuring on the wrist is highly inaccurate even with the best inflatable cuffs, so I wouldn't trust Apple on this and would not upgrade based on just that feature alone.

Figures. But maybe the combination of things will work. Or maybe not. Be nice though.
