I still miss the original 4-inch SE.

Why not use it then? It's perfectly capable on latest iOS and has same exact functionality as the 13 Pro Max.

Apple should just rebrand the mini as the SE, and mark it down since it sold poorly.

Yeah I almost went for that but remembered the fairly recent ‘Plus’ rumours.

I can’t really see Apple offering a 3-size lineup for the SE (too messy when current and previous generations of main lineups exist too), so I wondered if they’d go for small and large on the SE (as the line is a compromise to begin with…).

But you’re right SE and SE mini is more likely if calibrating on the current offerings.

I would love to be wrong though with a iPhone SE Plus / Max, even if it was the rebrand of iPhone 8 Plus with A15 SoC.

There was also a rumours from Kuo about iPhone Max, as in 6.7" iPhone 14 going for $899.

I still miss the original 4-inch SE.

The original 4-inch iPhone SE would have been roughly about 4.7" if it was a Full Screen Face ID design. May be Apple should have that as iPhone SE mini with a 5.7" that is the same size of current iPhone SE.

With iPhone SE having two different screen sizes, many would be buying it especially with the lower price tag of SE devices.
