Whatever the price, Apple is going to release a mass market product. They are looking at selling tens of millions, not a million or two, IMO.
I agree how can you set a price on something before you know what it looks like and what features it has.
Besides all I care about right know is deciding if I am buying a 4.7 or 5.5 iPhone![]()
i'd pay 400$ for a nixon watch
but i can't agree to pay this amount of money for a fancy smartwatch
This is total BS. There is no way that Apple didn't decide the price first and then build to that pricepoint - of course they might decide later they can flex their muscle a bit on price, but that would be like $50 max on a product like this.
iWatch apps? What makes you think the iWatch will have apps?
iWatch will almost definitely have apps in some shape or form. probably apps for your phone that extend functionality over to the watch. Similar to android wear
I'm not even entirely sold on the fact that Apple is going to announce a watch. For the past several months there's been a flood of part leaks for the iPhone 6, culminating in a somewhat booting device supposedly assembled from said parts. Meanwhile, not a SINGLE part has come out for this watch. Are we to assume Apple is lousy at keeping suppliers quiet for the iPhone but can lock down parts and specs for a brand new product? Interested to see what Apple comes up with when they are ready to release something, and 400 is a bit steep unless it has iPhone guts in it to do a lot more than just act as a relay for an iPhone, but I'm keeping expectations well in check for any announcements beyond the standard iPhone/iOS ones.
So in countries with carrier subsidies, you could buy two iPhone 6's for the price of a single iWatch?
At $400, count me out.
iPod touch is 200$ and I doubt an iwatch will have more hardware than an iPod touch.
