I suppose since Apple is a year ahead on TrueDepth anyway over Android, that gives them more time to focus on the rear camera till the other competitors catch up.

First comments i got was: home much did you pay? And that is from people carrying a s8 or note 8 for a subscription of $65 each month for 2years,
I got it without a simlock and use a subscription of about $16 a month. You calculate what is cheaper.
And they seem to know everyting that is wrong with the iphone x, crackling sound, green line, cold screen, etc.
Mine doesn’ t have these issues, though.
