new products?

say what?

iphone 4.0 ok
new nanos?
new ipod touch? - these count as new products or revisions of exisiting products?

What about an iPad revision in September/October with the OS 4.1 and front facing camera since it looks like it might be included with the new iPhone? The new iPhone gets the A4 underclocked, the revised iPad gets a little speed/RAM boost?

While the iPhone is not a killer Xmas product like the iPod was (because of the contract obligation), the iPad is. I see an iPad 1.1 with camera and selling for $100 less like the killer gift for Xmas... What do you guys think?

Please update the hobby, please update the hobby.........

:apple:TV that can handle 1080p please would be so very nice!

My guess for the new product of 2010: Apple TV.

But they already have that...!

Think about Clickwheel iPod -> iPod Touch transition...same 'iPod' name but I'd call the Touch a totally new product, right?

I think this'll be the same thing. The Apple TV will be updated soon to run iPad apps and it will come with a touch-screen remote OR you can buy game controllers for it. Bam, Apple is instantly competing with the Nintendo Wii.

That's your big 'new' Apple product of 2010, even if it shares its name with the silly little video player that has the Apple TV name now.

That's my guess, anyway.

It would be nice if they invest more money on making better professional desktop computers as they used to, instead of concentrating in devices only.:(

Can't disagree with you, however this might be why they are raking in so much dough, you have to cater to the masses or Apple might be right back where they started back in 1999.

Several new products?

OK so, iPhone 4g, iPod Touch 4g, MB, iMac with touch screen, cinema display, MacPro and then?

Everyone seems to be thinking hardware when new products are mentioned. When is that new server farm due to be finished?

"and we have several more extraordinary products in the pipeline for this year."

Fun?

nah...that sounds like the 2011 product.

2010 is the iPad.

Need for desktop computers?

Like, haven't you seen the unbelievable iMacs that are available now? What more could you possibley need?

I think the 450,000 people who just bought the ipad at release will scream bloody murder if Apple revises it only 4-6 months after release of the original. Not to mention those outside the USA who still do not have one yet. Although, I could see them doing something of a major educational discount for students.... I think it will be a year before we see a release.

No, I think new products mean:

ACD's - you people talk about how it's been years?

A mid/mini tower?

Of course the iphone and ipod refreshes?

A new Apple TV?

iphone dockable notebook (run both your iphone and notebook apps on you MB/MBP)?

Remember the slate dockable imac patent (the one where you slide your slate into the big screen?) I mean if they are working on a 30" LCD - just imagine a dockable pad with a CD drive already in the imac and larger hard drive for storage when not on the go.

More Cloud computing

Software updates for the PRO users

OF course all these are just speculations..... :D

All of the Apple haters can shove that ER right where the sun doesn't shine!

go aapl~~~~ :D

Good call, I expect the

icloud

device pretty soon.

Probably the shape of a halo worn on your head and when you think of something it's done.

Or the

iWave

We are being bombarded with rays, short wave, long wave,
wireless, infra red, 3D for head aches and seizures etc. etc..

It's only a matter of time when we'll all be crisp and fried or our brains fall out!

And, no FLASH .Only flash is in front of your eyes:)

Like what, a 0.2GHZ speed bump on the MBP 13"? ;)

Or maybe more "killer graphics"...
