And yet the price in after hours trading is down. The retail investors are so crazy. Trading emotionally based on Tesla's miss probably.
How the heck does Tesla have a market cap of over $800B? That‘s nuts!

when people get these $2000 cheques they are going to sell so many phones. If you think for a second anyone is going to buy things they actually need you are crazy they are going to buy Apple products

Wow, imagine how many of those billions that they've made during the pandemic they can spend on people suffering from the pandemic. If they're not paying too much in taxes, I'm sure that they could really invest so much into the humans making and consuming their products
Why yes, I do think you should get to decide how Other Peoples’ Money is spent.

When companies have to continually announce they are investing in the public good (announcing investing $350 billion in the US or continually repeating how many "jobs" they create), it means they know they are getting away with something obscene and are wondering when others will catch on.

I guess that makes Apple guilty of offering too good a user experience overall that makes people more than willing to throw their money at them.

Will no one think of BlackBerry or Windows phone!?!

Looking at the combo of 4Q20+1Q21, I give them a "C+" grade.

This the 4th iPhone product launch in a row that Apple hasn't really shown ANY real progress !

The numbers don't lie !

Any questions, doubters?

My jaw is on the floor. What a HISTORIC quarter.

$111.5B in revenue? Staggering. Great job by Apple and the best CEO in the world.
It's effin' unreal. Yes, the pandemic helped shape a new business model. But it points to Apple producing products and services that are appealing to a large group of people, who open their wallets to buy Apple products and services.

It's not the money being thrown at them I have a problem with. It's that they don't employ people commensurate with what they produce. Employment means you have an employer who pays into Social Security. Apple creates "jobs" with no employers, and no accountability, whether in the US (I "worked" for Apple as a non-employee twice) or around the world.

Great American companies throughout history employed people, whether it was Ford or Costco.

Apple makes some good products. They also squeeze blood out of turnips.

Oh my, have you been triggered? You have choices you know. Samsuing is the dominant competitor and they still include a charger... oh, wait.

Samsung only gives $200 worth of free accessories with new phone purchase so free Galaxy Buds Pro, leather case, clear case, 25W charger and smart tag. Not as good as paying $20 for a 5W charger. LOL

Maybe they should learn from Apple and Samsung also can make $111B per quarter. Giving away that $200 of "free accessories" to sell their phones really eats in the bottom line.

There's a lot of people here and other Apple fan sites that want Tim Cook fired. Apple's revenue, profits and stock prices have never been higher. Apple's market cap is number one in the world. Steve was a visionary and a great salesman, but lets not forget he was fired from the company before and Apple nearly went bankrupt before getting bailed out from Microsoft.

Yes, Steve did come back with an incredible second wind and got Apple going in the right direction. But he died... Then Tim rose to the occasion and picked up where Jobs left off. He has taken it to an even higher level than anyone could have imagined.

I'm proud of the company Apple has become. Apple may not make everyone happy all of the time, but they are certainly doing something right with numbers like this.

....And all during a pandemic. It goes to show you how much tech has been soaring for those who have migrated to work from home, school systems to require more off-site learning, the list goes on. Apple/Cook has more than proven how formidable they are.

I feel like there is a point in here somewhere but I’m not seeing it.

Sorry Tim and investors, my wife and I held off updating our iPhone 8-plus for another year.

I know you’re hurting from it - chin up! Better days ahead!
