I'm skeptical that something cannot be inoffensive, or needs to offend, to be considered quality. There's a difference between a poor quality show and one that is done well but happens to not suit your tastes. I know I find Ted Lasso excruciatingly boring, but I can see the appeal. If the show needs to offend then they better be making a good point, like South Park does.
Language and graphics and music and etc are a means of expression. The more you limit the scope of those expressions, the more limited the creative output can be.

Just like im sure you can fix yourself a nice vegan meal. But with the *option* of using animal products, i can make much more better meals, without having to go full-blown argentine barbecue.

Satire is one of the oldest device of arts. Like ancient greek old. And it requires objects of derision and ridicule. Having things be “inoffensive” neuters this genre of expression.

When is Eddy Cue leaving?
I'm surprised he still works at Apple. Most of the things he launched were either regressions or really buggy stuff.

He must have a specific talent that we can't see in public when he's a presenter in a keynote.

ATV+ is a nice service but currently it's priced like some sort of one stop shop uber service something it certainly isn't.

Maybe Apple should just buy Netflix and repurpose the content so there is stuff to watch on ATV.

The money that guy made working for Apple the last 6 years would set him up for life - I'd retire at 50 if I were him!

Stern told colleagues that he is leaving in order to spend more time on the East Coast,

I thought that was the most important bit, but not a single comment reading into it.

Future employers take note — Peter seems to have a habit of "stepping down to pursue other interests".

There are other executives who do this too... they bounce around a lot. I guess it's worth it for some short-term time for whatever good they could do in the meantime, even if they end up leaving soon enough.

Good! Now hopefully prices for Apple TV+, and Apple Music will be lowered in the future.

Unfortunately, I'd say the odds of that are not very good.
Apple's not in the business of walking prices back. Once they establish a price for a product/service, it only increases over time. Never* the reverse.

* waiting for that one forum member who will cite the one time Apple actually reversed course on pricing. I know you're out there. 😜
