That's not the case. As a straight white male, no one has ever credited me for anything mostly. Especially not when you are 5'6". Truth is, in a western society women are the most privileged and protected. It's all about women here, women there, black people here, black people there, same goes for gay and trans people and minorities. Please focus on the real issues. We are all equal, no need to feel entitled.

I'm not saying you are, but many others definitely are.
Ever been called “not a man” because of your height by “tolerant” people?
[automerge]1582589199[/automerge]
It's actually true. Straight white man are being demonized in the west. You are just not paying attention.
[automerge]1582587750[/automerge]

White men, who are responsible for building western civilization, are being demonized left and right. You are just not paying attention.
I used to think this statement was utterly ridiculous until I started reading up and experiencing some of it myself. Anybody wondering how true this is, go on YouTube and look up “evergreen school incident”. An almost riot happened at a school local to me because everybody was convinced all white men were evil. This is crazy times

Yeah. That's what i was referring to. And i'm pretty confident, i like myself. I do not care how tall i am, i'm tall enough. As a teenager (16-19), i didn't even knew that my height was important. But many others do think it's important, more than i would like it to be. It's something we need to address.

But hey, i'm a white straight male, so i'm privileged and entitled to anything. Please give me a break.

I wonder if the young chinese women slaving away at Apple's contracted foxconn factories get even an extended 10 minute break to partake in such a great event? Or is this just corporate pandering for the useless idiots to consume, feel good about themselves, and to encourage them into hitting that like button on Tim Cook's twitter?

Here come the usual round of ignorant comments.

It's shading, and it's a stylistic choice. The upper lip is darker because it's angled in.

Can’t believe stuff like this has to be explained to the uncreative squares in this thread.

“Why do their necks have two colors??”

As a straight, white male, everything is already automatically credited to you. You’re paid the most and have the least amount of disadvantages. This is the real issue.

Also, let’s get real about women being the most privileged and protected. It took Harvey Weinstein decades before any of his rape victims saw a modicum of justice. It had to take a white man’s voice before any of their claims were remotely taken seriously. And, it had to take a marginalized gay man to report it, since straight, white men can only focus on what they feel is being taken away from them due to other people finally gaining some equality.

So Macrumors just turned 20 and one of the top comments on that celebratory article was how enjoyable the site has been because of the community. I found it a little strange since I find the forum has changed into an echo chamber of cynicism. Perhaps I was wrong. And then I read the comments in here.
Yup. Back then there was plenty of whining about Apple's products, but at least we didn't have to deal with this constant alt-right nonsense.

Lol. Sure. What a stilted and poisoned world view.

Criticism of "National Women's Day" is now "All right."

Sure. Buy a dictionary, my man.
[automerge]1582648124[/automerge]
So many here getting the shakes over this. Amusing!
Shaking with laughter at the absurdity of a "National women's day."
[automerge]1582648207[/automerge]
Because Women don't work in all the other Apple stores around the world. Half assed virtue signalling.
[automerge]1582634637[/automerge]

All the 'It doesn't happen to me so my privilege doesn't exist' men in this thread denying their privilege in society are proving why we need days like this. ?
I have zero privilege. Come walk a mile in my shoes, son, and you can tell me all about my "privilege."

What is wrong with you people?

Hah, ask any straight woman anywhere her criteria for a male partner and it will start with "tall..." 90% of the time, completely superficial requirement but the most important to many. Now watch a man respond with "slim" in his list, a physical aspect which can actually be changed and watch the volcano of feminism erupt. There are many hypocritical double-standards in the woke world and women complaining about beauty standards set by the media is one.

For what it’s worth brother, I think the tide will turn. It seems in history there’s always a period of intolerance that’s acceptable for a short period of time before there’s a push back and people realize it’s not right. It’s so weird seeing people decry racism while being racist towards whites and Asians for example. I believe this point in history will be looked back on as a “what the hell were we thinking” moment. It might be awhile, but someday we will realize fighting racism with more racism was a terrible tactic and only served to divide people more.
