I hope it fixes issue with AirTag Family Sharing not working!! My wife/daughter share them with me, and it works for a few hours then they disappear from my phone.

Lots of reddit and Apple Support Community threads about this.

We’ve been using the Duracell Procell batteries and they’ve lasted for many months, if not years.

These are Duracell’s professional line. Can’t confirm about any coating, but they last a long time and worked instantly.

Unfortunately, I’ve only ever seen them on B&H Photo. Currently a 20-pack for $16, though not expensive enough to qualify for free shipping.

They are just a chore to get out of the packaging and have a sticker you need to remove.

What I REALLY want is the ability for another user to ACCEPT that a AIRTAG is “tracking” them, so it doesn’t show up constantly as an ALERT.. My SO and I have five airtags, one on her purse that I can track - purposely!.. and it always shows up on HER phone as “an airtag MAY BE tracking you!” ALERT

Share the air tag in the airtag menu and itll stop it

It's funny how they are now saying that a percentage of users get the update without any real knowledge of how they released it.

still cannot sync with two accounts, makes it incredibly stupid.
The only use for these I've ever seen is to keep track of kids, and then only one parent can. which is dumb.

I have one hidden in my car. My wife and I can both see it on our respective accounts. Just share the AirTag with the other person through the Find My app.

She had to accept it on her end before it stopped sending the “AirTag found moving with you” notifications.

Why don’t you use the share feature introduced in iOS 17? Or do you mean something else?

Hopefully fixes battery drain issues, I feel like I’ve been getting low battery warnings a lot more frequently recently.

That seems to be an issue with 3rd party tags as well. I have a couple of Chipolo's and after their first firmware update (also done with Apple's Find my app) caused many battery warnings, even though they are far from empty. Even new batteries get a warning within days.
