Apple Rolls Out 'Express Lane' for Customized Product Support

They've got some issues to fix... The main window shows 4 products for me, the detailed window shows 5... And it wont let me add my new iPhone 4, claiming its owned by someone else, even though its only ever been registered to me... And I get the same "contractor" error as everyone else, plus some other display issues...
 
guys - get real

I had the same issue, it told me that the SN is registered to another user. Then I remembered I had used some other email when I installed the OS - and guess what:
=> I have exactly three (3) different Apple-ID's (did the account password) reset) and each has some of my gear registered to it. Oh, reminds me - I still have register and get AppleCare for my new MacBook I bought last month. Maybe create yet another account ?

3x MacMini, 2x MacPro, 3x AppleTV, 1x MacBook
PS: Those who bought used equipment will get a warranty transfer function soon (my guess)

It does until you get to the point where you then get to speak to soemone at Apple at which point you can only use a USA or Canada phone number. So ultimately useless for us.
 
OMG the express lane is amazing. I just logged on with my Apple I.D and password and Apple already had my Macbook Pro and iMac set up and registered. My serials were already in the system. Took me right to the page to request to be called back. No issues here. :)
 
I'm pretty sure this has been around for about a week now.

I know because I used it last week. I spent a couple minutes looking for Apple Expert only to realize they changed the name. :eek:

I've tried adding the serial numbers for my bluetooth keyboard, magic mouse and new magic trackpad but each time I get a message telling me that the serial numbers are invalid. I've also tried registering my iPhone 3GS but I get a message telling me that it has already been registered to someone else. What's that about? I'm in the UK btw.
 
Express Service

I actually used this service for the first time yesterday. I began the process around 3pm because I needed to replace my power adapter. I finished up with the apple reps at about 3:30pm. I was stunned when the power adapter arrived at 9am this morning! In the past when I've needed to replace frayed cables and power adapters it would take about 3-4 days to arrive. It could be that 'the express lane' refers to the overall service experience!
 
Express Lane is still not working right for me. It still thinks I'm an employee and it still wont let me register 3 of my devices, including the iPhone4 I bought on under the same AppleID.

Hey - I noticed you posted a long time ago you had the old pearworks program before it was updated to not actually copy lyrics. Do you still have the working one, or any alternatives that work?
