Apple Rushing Retail Store Renovations Ahead of iPhone 5 Launch

In Seattle the entire store is gutted inside (I looked inside the store) and they are rebuilding it completely. I think this is not because of the iPhone but rather because of the new Microsoft Store being built across the parking lot from it.

Yeah, a few stores are being rebuilt including the store on Knox in Dallas. But a majority of these quickie renovations is just putting up security gates to prevent the smash-and-grabs that have been going on.
