They look just like every Apple earphone since 2001 without wires. I guess you like the wires dangling down as a better look. People like you crack me up.
I use wireless headphones... just not Apple's. People that assume stuff crack me up.

Never said you didn’t use wireless headphones I use othe one too. I said the AirPods don’t look that much different than all their other earbuds. So your statement doesn’t hold water. But thanks for playin.

You can put those little foam covers over them. Worked wonders for me and they still fit in the case without a problem.

Good suggestion.
I still prefer my BeatsX since they are in ear and provide a good isolation. I'd buy an in-ear pair of AirPods instantly but I don't think they'll change the design in the near future.
I'm tempted by AirPods and EarPods do fit my ears so I shouldn't have problems with AirPods, but during my daily commute on the subway I'm afraid I'd have to raise the volume to the maximum level to be able to listen to podcasts, while I can keep it to 60% or 70% on the BeatsX.
A better sound isolation on the AirPods would help a lot, and I'd like to have at least a black version.

As much as I would want them. I know I'd lose them.

I already keep misplacing my current Anker Bluetooth earbuds.

That's one of the reasons why I went for the BeatsX instead. The cable can be annoying sometimes, but it is like having a necklace thanks to the magnets, I forget I'm wearing them but they're always there when I need to answer to a phone call.

Airpods are fabulous. Particularly when used with an Apple Watch.

I have the AW but I always use the physical buttons on my BeatsX. With AirPods I'd use the Watch but is not as convenient as having something to touch with your hands. I know you can perform some actions by tapping on a single AirPod but is not as convenient in my opinion.

While they haven't been perfect – sometimes they won't charge unless seated just perfectly, won't always connect to my computer, and I've actually had both the buds and the case replaced at different times –, these are indispensable for me. I recently washed them and was ready to plunk down another $160 to replace them. Fortunately for me, they survived (at least for now) with no ill effects. I've spent way too much money on bluetooth headphones and these are the ones for me.

I too have spent too much money on wireless headphones and kept AirPods and Bose OverEar. I have been using AirPods since my friend got some and let me try them. I didn’t buy them previously because I was worried about the earpod sound quality. I had to get a replacement case and Apple phone support overnight shipped a case and I got it fixed by lunch the next day.

And so ugly. Bright white couldn't stand out more. (unless that's what you're looking for). Black, beige, browns or even designs. Whenever I see them dangling in someones ears, I don't see something that looks good.

For me convenience > looks.

To be fair. Phone calls are secondary functionality. If you're regularly spending more than an hour and a half on calls you'd probably be better using a pair of wired headphones. I wear mine at the gym all the time, I can't say I've noticed any adverse affect from sweat. What sort of problems are people seeing?

For better cleaning sweat away water resistance would be helpful - What sort of problems people don't realize ;-)
