Did we really need an RC after 8 betas? If a developer isn't ready after nearly 3 months shame on them.

Also its already installed on the new purple iPhone ....so the software is DONE! RELEASE IT!!!!!

Exactly, installed the profile so I'm installing 14.5 RC anyway.

That's not how it works. Of course developers have been working on it, and may consider themselves ready. But they must wait until an RC Xcode is released, before doing a final build/test. Only then can they submit to the App Store.

Huh? It should only be available for those with the public beta profile installed. Which anyone could do but still that doesn't mean its released to the public yet.

It is not about server power. Apple have enough server power, they usually push everything on the same day.

Well, they've had plenty of opportunity to get it right, so to paraphrase Alan Shepard.

"Dear Lord, please don't let them (ahem) screw up".

Take your time and get it squared away, but it had better be squared away after you take this much time.

Believe it or not, USA is not the only country in the world. And we also have iPhones. Unfortunately in mine and lot of others, will be wearing them for more time yet.
