Apple Says iPhone 16e's New C1 Modem is Just the 'Start' in Interview

My intent was not to be self righteous. Here’s a direct quote from the article linked to in this article:



Literally says “main difference” and it doesn’t even mention the possibility of increased battery capacity.

Fair enough. I was only speaking to what I wrote, not any other writer. I was led back to this comment from another comment you made on my own article later on, so I didn't realize. I'm fairly certain I always said the C1 modem is only "contributing" to longer battery life, as I had known that Apple mentioned an internal redesign with a larger battery in its iPhone 16e announcement video. My apologies.

Thank you for hearing me out and for the apology. My comment probably should’ve gone on the other author’s article as that kicked off my frustration. But when I kept seeing articles of the C1 being attributed to better battery life (which is factually true) but no mention of battery capacity either, it felt to me like that shouldn’t have been left out of the discussion, unintentionally or not. Anyways, best of luck.
