On the contrary, my wife complains all the time about her iPad doing that to her, as does my daughter on her iPhone. Yet neither one is even remotely interested in an Apple forum.

I've about given up posting from my old iPad minis, because of constantly getting the dreaded "have to reload the page" error. Not to mention being unable to switch between apps without everything reloading. I'd love more RAM.

I still get the error my new iPad Air 2. I don't think is the ram but a software issue with safari.

The 6 just has software stabilization.

The primary reason to not give preorder numbers, is if they were less than expected.

The other reason is to not give out precise competitive financial information until legally required (in the quarterly financials report). One way to do that, but still spin positive optics to stay in the news, is to give out slightly different metrics every year.
