what device were you using ? I got into the Apple store and went straight to my favourites, finished the order in about 20 seconds overall. Surprised I got one launch day didn’t have the same luck with my iPhone 7 Plus last year, November 3rd Shipping Date

I couldn't even get on the apple app until it was too late to order vis IUP

so glad I went with EE

Took me about 8 minutes to get through to Apple app on iPad, got to my favorites but took over 20 minutes to get through Verizon's verification and I was PAYING IN FULL -- now I am at 4-6 weeks wait. Horrible system. With all Apple's brilliance there must be a better way to do this than to have to get up at 3AM and get frustrated. As some (in)famous politician always says ... SAD!

I keep hearing this with Verizon people. I think it was a Verizon thing not apple thing. But I’m sure Verizon will never admit it.

Mine was in my favorite but...I clicked on it, and it had me select my "replace this phone", color, and capacity all over again. No idea why. Took an extra 10 seconds or so, probably enough to push me back a week or two on delivery.

For  pay Failed twice. I had to order without it and shipping slipped to 2-3 weeks

Did anyone else get this? I went to the Apple store app, where everything was saved and ready to go - iphone configurations, card details, address details, the lot. But when I went to check out, I was taken to a screen where I was asked to put in card information again. I did so, and pressed save, but it didn't save. There was a feedback loop that took me back to the same page.

I ended up having to wait for the website, by which time shipping times had slipped to 2-3 weeks.

A total screw up by Apple. Very frustrating indeed.
Yeah, I did the pre-approval earlier this week as part of the iPhone upgrade program, thought I was headed for buttery smooth for once, but no. First it took 10 minutes for the app to load the store on any of 3 devices, and then it proceeded to give me error messages when trying to complete my order until finally it took me to a billing info screen asking for my first and last name (one I didn’t expect to see let alone need to enter info on) before finally giving me order confirmation.

Not a massive deal, I’m in the 3-4 week category— but still a bit disappointing. Last year’s iUP experience, while more aggravating (waiting on hold to talk to a rep for a couple hours, etc), at least resulted in a launch day phone. Now i’ll Be getting this phone a full 14 months after my last phone, throwing a wrench in the normal 12 month cycle and causing me to re-think using the iPhone upgrade program.

Without wanting to be too pro-Apple because I think there must be a better way to do it, there does appear to be more stock available than people were predicting, particularly those oh-so reliable analysts.

I forgot I had it saved in Favorites and went through the process on both my iPhone 7 Plus and iPad. I had a problem with iPhone but it went through in a few minutes on the app on iPad just fine.

Favourites worked for me however I had to re-enter my already saved shipping address.. then it double-whammied me by asking for a billing address for my Apple Store Gift Card... I slipped from launch delivery to 2-3 weeks, just like that. As I said in another thread though, I'm just happy to get it!
