I've been running the public beta for about a week now and it feels like a gold master. Anybody encounter any show stopping bugs in the recent betas?

Im not getting the option to update .
Is this happening to anyone using the Public Beta ? I think I'm still on Beta 3 , unless is updating automatically ?

Double-check that the Beta profile is still installed. Somehow the profile disappeared from mine, so I had to go to beta.apple.com to re-download it.

No, more like 3rd party apps that break until they're updated for 10. Not unusual since those 3rd party apps are usually updated much closer to the public release date.

"All photos" in Albums are in disorder. Photos taken years ago are shown as the last ones taken, but when I open the actual photo it the details are shown as taken some years ago. Does anyone have the same? All my photos are in the cloud and not stored on my iPhone/iPad. Started with the Public Beta 6, was hoping for Public Beta 7 to fix it, but still the same.

Thanks for the reminder. I was so happy with iOS 10 on my iPad that I was just going to go ahead and update my iPhone. I should wait until critical 3rd party apps are updated for iOS 10.

That definitely sounds like a bug you should report. If the metadata is correct, it should be in order. All my photos are in the correct order.

My photos seem to appear in the correct order (I use iCloud Photo Library). One thing to note, I thought in the "All Photos" view, the photos are in order by the date added to the library, while the "Moments" view is put in order by the "date taken" metadata.

So if you save a photo to your phone that was taken 3 years ago, it will display as the bottom photo in "All Photos", but you will have to scroll up to the year 2013 to find it in the "Moments" view.

That's the thing. I do not add or save any photos myself. Only photos taken. So the photos are added when the photo is taken. And everything was in order until the last 2 beta updates. And I checked the photos. Only 5 or 7 seven are not in order and were put as if last save or taken. All the rest are fine.

Are your photos messed up when you check them in iCloud.com?

The issues I'm noticing with Public Beta 7 after updating from 6 a couple of hours ago:

  • Animations are slower and there is a lag opening and closing.
  • When playing music and then activating a Siri request (in this case through headphones) it takes and completes the request but doesn't resume music without user pressing the home or headphone button - not sure if this was always the case but certainly frustrating.
  • There is no option to clear up next list as a whole which was th case previously. Instead each one must be cleared individually.
  • Also in music you can no longer select an individual track and add to up next. You can only add an artists full album.
  • Shuffle makes no sense not being immediately available - I know we already know about this but super annoying.
  • When typing on a website such as this and you reach the bottom of the screen there is no automatic scroll so you start typing blind unless you stop swipe the screen up and resume.
  • Lastly when reporting issues via Feedback Assistant, it makes it to a complete circle but so far, several hours later still hasn't completed the upload.

Thanks Apple, iPhone updated to 9.3.5 smoothly and iPad Air 2 to iOS public beta 10 (b7) just as smooth.
No issues yet, not even a slowdown due to re-indexing or whatever.

Not the best progress. But hopefully all this will be back in release version. I finally got the feedback to send today after it compressed forever. Previously I have have to just delete as days later still not sent. The music app seems to still be changing and the invisible button still exists. Hoping they add the "clear up next list" back as well. Sorta missing PBeta 6. Oh well win some loose some so it goes in the beta world.

Are there any differences in the Release Notes? My Developer account just expired and it's not letting me see the notes, even though I can still receive the updates.

MacRumors need a quality control filter to hide all low quality posts like "update not available to me" and other none informative posts. I know you guys like the comment count but most of it is pointless.

And I'd really like them to filter out everyone who reposts the entire article when they comment.

They have never got this right and still haven't...

When setting a timer, for the first time it's in notification centre if you're screen is locked and swipe left. Great.

If your phone is unlocked there is nowhere to see what time remains, it doesn't show up when swiping left.

It also isn't showing up on the lock screen like in iOS 9.

As unnecessary as it is, the quote doesn't take up much space anyway as it gets limited in size.
