Anybody use the MS outlook app for mail?
Not sure if it's buggy or what, but each time I go to access my emails it's stutters and flashes quite a bit...
Hi, I do use it quite a lot and haven't noticed it as of yet. Didn't have a chance as of yet to update to yesterday's PB, though. Will do so sometime today. Wil keep an eye of this and eventually keep u updated if it is flaky on my side as well.
iP6S+ here

UPDATE: Outlook is rock solid on both, my iP6S+ and iPP9.7

Oh and battery life is still pretty bad on my 6 Plus
Well, beta 6 has been draining battery approx 60% faster than any other beta (4 and 5, both had exceptional battery life).
It only would be back to normal after:
- restoring to iOS 9.3.4, factory settings
- updating to iOS 10, beta 7
- setting up as a new phone
(- no restore from backup)

Hope beta 8 improves this.

And I'd really like them to filter out everyone who reposts the entire article when they comment.
It's really only a problem in apps like Tapatalk. When I read this in my phone browser, the quoted text is collapsed past a certain size.

Tapatalk really needs its own implementation of multi-quote.

But I agree - quoting an entire, multi-paragraph post, only to reply with a single sentence is really quite anticlimactic.

apparently something was wrong because they took it down

Yea it's either fake, or they posted about it easier than they should of done. The invites should go out officially soon tho. my guess is now Monday or Tuesday next week.

The issues I'm noticing with Public Beta 7 after updating from 6 a couple of hours ago:

  • Also in music you can no longer select an individual track and add to up next. You can only add an artists full album.

You can add an individual track on a 6S by using 3D touch.

I can't believe that there are STILL bugs with creating Reminders with Siri and then trying to change it. For instance, say "Remind me to get a haircut at 10am" and then "Change that to 9:30am" or even "Change my last reminder to 9:30am". It acts like it knows what to do, sometimes... but then gives you blank output, and doesn't change anything.

Honestly, I'm not a developer and I find bugs....

Pretty specific bug most will never notice, certainly not to the extent it's ruffling your feathers! I'm also a long time Apple user ('84) and iOS since the genesis ('07/'10) and apparently I'm blind to these masses of bugs. Then again, each device more than makes up for the nitpicks with convenience unmatched in human history and computing.

I was just reading the release notes in Outlook's update from last week and it sounds like MS is aware and working diligently on a fix for iOS 10. Check your updates and maximize their notes

I didn't mention the dialog box. If there's an iPadOS implemented, these issues would get taken care of. There's the three miles of space between icons as well. Would you like me to implement a change that makes the spaces narrower?

Hmmm, seems that was the exact screenshot you referenced. A dialogue box on a springboard/desktop shot. I was curious about the same. Most folks have a 'lot of wasted space' on the desk or within a barren settings panel.
Usually I'm working in an app and I've found that developers and designers take pretty good care of the space.
The desk/springboard doesn't bug me in the least as I don't spend much time there - & don't understand your complaints. At all

That's the thing. I do not add or save any photos myself. Only photos taken. So the photos are added when the photo is taken. And everything was in order until the last 2 beta updates. And I checked the photos. Only 5 or 7 seven are not in order and were put as if last save or taken. All the rest are fine.

I believe they flipped the order. Mine are the same. Older on top, latest at end of one of the albums. Noticed that yesterday

They have never got this right and still haven't...

When setting a timer, for the first time it's in notification centre if you're screen is locked and swipe left. Great.

If your phone is unlocked there is nowhere to see what time remains, it doesn't show up when swiping left.

It also isn't showing up on the lock screen like in iOS 9.

You can 'up' from any of the positions the display is in. Locked , unlocked, home screen and in app. I'm not missing it on my lock screen but I've switched to using my watch/iPhone for my timers - your complaint seems valid, you should submit through feedback!

I really am diggin' the PB, looking forward to family and friends being onboard soon!

You bought an iPad Pro, though, so I'll have to take your opinion with a large truck of salt.

Is anyone else's camera not working after the update? Front camera is fine, rear camera not working. iPhone SE
Problem on a 6S Plus. Launching camera the rear camera won't load unless switched to front camera and back. Oftentimes I have to swipe to video and back to enable the rear camera.

Apple today seeded the eighth beta of iOS 10 to developers and a seventh version to public beta testers for testing purposes, one week after releasing the seventh developer beta and more than two months after first unveiling the new operating system at its 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference.

iOS 10 beta 8 is available as an over-the-air download to those who installed the first seven betas or the beta configuration profile and it's available for direct download via Apple's Developer Center (developers only).

iOS 10 is a major iOS update with a ton of new features and design tweaks, including a new Lock screen experience with 3D Touch-enabled notifications, a more easily accessible camera, a redesigned Control Center, and a new widgets screen. According to Apple, iOS 10 is the company's biggest iOS update ever released.

The Messages app in iOS 10 has been overhauled with features that include background animations, bubble effects, Digital Touch, handwritten notes, Tapback replies, predictive emoji, and a dedicated App Store, and Photos has gained new facial and object recognition capabilities along with a Memories feature for rediscovering forgotten moments.

iOS 10 is currently available to developers and public beta testers, with a full public release planned for the fall. iOS 10 beta 8 is likely to be the last update before the golden master version is released as Apple will need time to finalize the software before its public launch. For full details on iOS 10, make sure to check out our iOS 10 roundup.

Update: Many users appear to be running into an error when attempting to download the new beta, getting an "Unable to Check for Update" popup.

My battery has actually gotten worse with the last two betas. Seems to still have a lot of bugs (many of which I reported multiple betas ago)

to be more effective, a troll really needs to be earlier in the thread.
try next time to get your post in within the 1st 20 or so posts.

So to you a troll is any post that points out that Apple products aren't perfect? Gotcha.

Apple. Craig, Tim - whoever. Seriously. Fix these two things for the love of god. Two bugs that have been here forever.

Control Centre - if you are viewing a message thread in Messages, and you scroll up forcefully to view control centre as one would do while walking or running, control centre jumps half way up the phone and sits there. This is so incredibly annoying.

Read Receipts - the bug from like iOS 8 where messages are showing 'Read' and subsequently the last message is randomly dropping to 'Delivered' is still there.

When will this stop. I beg you.

iPhone SE 64G iOS 10.0 14A5346a.

You really have to fling it up hard! Probably why I never noticed that one before.

Last beta, PB7, seems to have fixed battery life over PB6 that drained by battery in less than half a day on an IP6S+

Pretty sure this won't be the place they will pick up on calls to fix/change those things.
