Let me guess... slightly more or less glassy. Just give us a damn slider and let us choose how it looks.

No changes in that aspect since like beta 5, or at least not that I’ve noticed. It won’t get any “better” than this…

The iTunes Store App still looks like iOS 18, which is so freaking weird and so out of place. Like if they’re going to ship this in September and not facelift the menus and all, I’m staying on iOS 18 until they polish out the inconsistencies.

Even the friggin Books Store is updated like, what’s this about, “attention to detail” Apple.

The Wifi toggle is still not Liquid Glass ! Reported for 15 days like the bugs I mentioned in my previous message...
It's a BETA! If you don't want to deal with bugs, don't install a BETA!

But seriously, it is bizarre that a button for a core function isn't updated to Apple's ALL NEW Liquid Glass. I'm afraid it is but another example of the PR team setting the timeline, regardless of readiness. I'm sure you'll get the standard reply: "Engineering is aware of the issue. There is no ETA for a resolution. Keep you device up to date."

Honestly, I can’t seem them keeping the iTunes App Store. They may be working integrate it into the Music app better.

@goonie4life9 : I've been testing betas for years, I know the trade-off perfectly well, thank you!
But my point is that we report bugs but don't know what the point is when they aren't fixed over the weeks.

Dude…you’re probably right, I just noticed this:

And this is the TV app:

So that’s it. They’re getting rid of the iTunes Store. 😩

I hope carplay with liquid glass won't crash anymore. With beta 7, when waze was running with carplay and as a passenger I was using safari ong other apps, the phone always became sluggish (even spotify background play was stuttering) before carplay crash.

The workaround is to reduce transparency in the accessibility settings. But even with that the phone remains lagish

FWIW, that happened almost two years ago with iOS 17.2:

Oh wow. I never really bought movies through iTunes, only music, so I never noticed. Oh they will definitely get rid of the iTunes Store now if they can’t be bothered to at least update the menu. That’s sad, but understandable.

The latest release today, corrected the charging problem on iPad Pro m2, only way to charge it on the previous release was through the Magic Keyboard slot

iOS 26 PB 5 is available.

It is 9.41 GB on my iPhone 25e.

(no corresponding new watchOS PB for me to install on my Apple Watch 21).
