Why hasn’t Apple addressed the vulnerability patched in 18.6.2 in the latest Beta 8?

That's right.
Not Liquid Glass on my iPhone 16 Pro Max DB7 and 8.
Not tested on other versions.
Problem reported.
Tested on IP 15 Pro Max on both betas and worked as on screenshot.
Do you try to press and hold finder on the button?
How does it look on your phone?

After restarting my iPhone, I corrected my statement: the Wi-Fi activation/deactivation button appears in liquid glass, which was not the case with the DB7. So, the problem has been corrected. And after this restart, the VPN logo appears again, to the right of my operator's name, which was no longer the case since yesterday's update.

I wonder what's the point of reporting bugs to Apple since they don't get fixed. For example: if you use the tap (double or triple) behind the iPhone, the new (full screen) Screenshot menu doesn't work even though it's enabled. The customizable icons at the bottom of the lock screen always appear small.

It sounds like you’re reporting an issue with a feature that debuts in iOS 26. They may not get fixed from beta to beta.

Showstoppers tend to get priority. Like the MAJOR bugs. The two you mentioned are not a good look but they might be waiting till the main release to add the fix.

It seems you expect that something reported in beta 1 should be fixed in beta 2 or 3. It SHOULD be. But being released every week or two there is little chance of that expectation being fulfilled IMHO.

I'm perfectly aware, using beta versions, that some bugs shouldn't be prioritized, and I understand that perfectly. My iPhone is usable without any issues!
Even public versions are sometimes affected by persistent bugs... This time, it's less understandable, but it happens. I regularly see cases of this on the Apple France community.

Still don't understand. Looks like all the other toggles
When you tap it, it doesn’t have the glass slider that the other toggles do. It only appears if you hold it and slide it manually. Other toggles will have the nice Liquid Glass animation when you just tap them. Without the animation (or any animation at all), it looks very unfinished and cheap.

Ahh, I see now. Never noticed either of them but I get it now.

You'll be happy to know, it does now in the RC :)
