This is likely a GM candidate. They otherwise would only do differential changes to the data. 1.9 GB is about the size of a full restore for iPhone 7 Plus on iOS 10

This is most likely something small that they couldn't resolve with a delta patch without exposing the ability to reverse engineer it by hackers. I'm sure there is a threshold of changes that are required to allow a delta update to insure encryption strength.

I can't download the public beta... I signed up, downloaded the profile, restarted my 7 plus... but it still says up to date with 10.0.3.

Anyone else have this problem?

Same here. Just bought a new iPhone. Enrolled the phone today in the beta program. Downloaded the profile. And it just keeps telling me my iOS 10.0.3 is up to date. I tried removing my profile, reinstalling it. Resetting settings, even tried wiping the phone and reinstalling the iOS. But each time I try to install the beta, it says that I am up to date.

Yeah I been doing it all day. Only thing I can think of is if this beta is considered a GM beta, and I am not a paid developer, it won't let me download it? That's all I got at this point.

can't believe 5 betas and still 7 plus with 3GB ram and fasted phone, is choppy as hell shutting apps and app switcher, I'm sick of talking about it but its driving me mad, why does dam apple not fix it, can't be that hard and no for the last time its not a feature it happens sometimes, this 7 plus is a joke wish I never got it, every beta I think will be fixed and nothing what the hell has changed apart from one dam feature portrait mode, I wish I could speak to Tim Cook and say what the F

I feel your pain. I felt the same way about my 6+ when I first got it. It sucked and took months to run correctly.

I'm staring to think Apple sees this as a feature exclusive to the iPhone 7

My iPhone 7 plus arrived today, pre-loaded with 10.0.3. I have the iOS Public Beta profile installed, but when I check for updates, it's saying none are available. I deleted the profile, then re-downlaoded it. Still not showing any updates.

Any idea what's going on?

What is this animation problem?? I'm not seeing it.
There is more than one. If you're in an app and then double tap home to open the app switcher, a distinct bunny hop will be seen in the app cards.

Most of the time it's just a hop, but other times it's more like a gallop.

Also, the animation seen while an app is minimizing after pressing the home button may stutter.

Have you reset all settings and/or restored the phone from scratch? I don't have these issues on my 7 and I'd guess nor do most owners otherwise there would be lag-gate stories all over the web. I've heard a small vocal minority bang on about various animation lags since the iPhone3 but apart from the odd early beta, corrupted profile, hardware fault or obsolete device running newest software these issues are not manifest on all devices and versions of iOS. So either the problem can be solved or the problem is in your perception of what is normal.

This has nothing to do with my phone.
I can replicate this on in store iPhones. Also, the little bunny hop on the app switcher doesn't happen to all apps. It does for Safari but not News.

If you think my perception is the problem then I must have much more acute perception than you.

I just tried to replicate and nothing... Safari, News, Facebook, iTunes, Podcasts and no hop at all.

Same. It must be some glitch. Cause I just swapped my phone. And no matter what I do, I cannot install the public beta. It keeps saying there are no updates.

I can confirm that there are no bunny hops occurring on my phone so either your super powers are indeed more acute than mine or the issue is specific to certain device and profile combos.

Looks to have fixed the signal problem I was seeing with my 7+ on EE, dropping to 3g in weak 4g areas. Hopefully will also have fixed dropping to Edge in weak 3g areas. (compared to my 6S+ with the same SIM)

I found it only really happened on my train journey and when in London. Now I have a 4 day weekend back in Essex so I can't test this until Monday. I started a thread about it because it was annoying me so much.

While I don't disagree with this statement, I do find it unacceptable to have a major feature (multitasking) that works smoothly from a certain screen and then the complete opposite on another, with no actual reason other than what we think is in regards to "killing the animation".

I don't think your friend would paint his wall green only to look at it from another angle and have it appear red.

Where is this friend buying his paint from?!

Same here. I can't get it to go past 10.0.3. I've reinstalled the profile, restored the phone, etc. I got my iPhone 7+ yesterday and I can't get my backups to load because they were 10.1, and my phone is 10.0.3. I have never had a problem simply installing the beta profile, then grabbing the backup, but it's really weird 10.1 beta 5 won't appear as an update.

Cannot install it on my jet black 7 plus. It says my software is already up to date. Tried removing my iOS beta profile and adding it again. And I still cannot get it to update.
Same for me any solution

I sure hope that this 10.1 update fixes all of the confounded Bluetooth issues with the 7plus. At this point I cannot even enable BT since it makes most/all my alert tones fail to play. When I attach BT to my new 2016 vehicle system, the voices on calls sound like Charlie Brown's teacher. Unrecognizable. Crossing my fingers on this one.
