Looking forward to Final Cut Pro X 10.3 that is expected to come out with this release.

For the love of god please fix the issue with external 4K monitors (Dell P2415Q in my case) not turning on when connected to a closed rMBP on a restart and then not allowing the built in screen to turn on when opening it, causing a hard reboot with the screen open. Worked great in all versions of El Capitan..

Just buy an Apple Thunderbolt Display. Oh wait...

Anyone else's on-screen 'display' gone when adjusting brightness, sound, keyboard lights, etc?

All those features still work, just the UI that shows you it going up or down is gone.

Edit: a restart fixed it

The biggest treat of Sierra will be in 2017 when they introduce the new file system, APFS! That's going to be amazing, and should also help to improve battery life on our devices, too.

At this point it isn't certain final APFS will be included with Sierra, Developer documentation only mentions timeline in 2017. I suspect APFS may well be fully supported only in 10.13 with Sierra potentially gaining limited support in a point update.

At the moment Sierra only contains alpha version of APFS usable via Terminal commands and I'm not certain how well the final version is going to work once its released. In other words use it at your own risk...

I agree APFS has potential but will it live to expectations is another question.

Absolutely agree. Asus here, same problem.
And not just that:
  • flickering screen,
  • buggy video controls,
  • sudden resets,
  • BEACHBALLS,
  • software that stopped for working (for no apparent reason),
  • slow behaviour,
  • iTunes before that was way snappier (don't get me started on the stupid hearts-system where one state cannot be accessed in playlists).
  • iTunes Backups from iPhone cannot be saved "no disk space" (with 230GB available),
  • Word cannot save temporary files anymore - and crashes,
  • Bluetooth automatically disconnects - reconnects - disconnects.
  • Cannot use the Apple Watch to unlock, as I have several iPads, including an old one which will stop working once I activate two-way authentification...
  • losing WiFi
  • Safari cannot open webpages (Firefox can)
  • Lightroom crashes when converting to DNG

... all of this worked with Mavericks and stopped with Sierra. Thank you, Apple.

The list is so long, I have regretted updating my system and I will certainly never ever again update my computer, once the last service update has come along.
Sierra has been a disappointment all along.

Phew...

Has Apple forgotten that people actually work with this OS and depend on its reliability. Have they forgotten that this was the reason we chose to invest money?

I love Apple. I hate what it has become.

You could try to reset SMC and/or PRAM if you not already did, seems to me you could get a nice working OS again.

Does this beta fix the notification center bug where notifications from calendar and reminders repeat every few seconds once triggered even if you accept/mark them complete? I've had to turn the notifications off and am now missing events and appointments as a result!

Lets hope one fix will be to remove Siri from MacOS. I'm sick of the stupid nagging "Do you want to enable Siri" popup appearing every time I use my *wired* headphone switch. If I want pointless nagging popups I'd "upgrade" to Windows.

As they know Sierra is buggy, then why they bug me with "Upgrade your OS" notifications?

"Press OK for messing up your computer".

No thanks.

Add Final Cut Pro X TimeCode display is broken again like it was with El Capitan so Apple Repeat the mistake again with Mac OS Sierra and some find this acceptable since a new Final Cut Pro X is expected .... i dont find this acceptable why not go from actual FCP X to the new FCP X without Bug it will show Apple Care For The Pro Again.
