Beta 4 was terrible for me. So many reboots and trouble connecting to the phone.

I just got the Watch, and I wanted to evaluate the OS without any beta bugs. Now I'm curious about the version 2 features. Is beta 5 mostly free of show-stopping bugs as far as you can tell?

As to the modular face, they could make the modules a little smaller in order to fit in a couple more modules--the more info in one view the better.

No.

Beta 5 speeds things up for me but I can't use hey siri at all. Maps still can't locate me right now. Weather doesn't do current location. Time-lapse watch face freezes. Can't access folders in music.

Is multi-color modular face new in watchOS? As far as I can tell, my watchOS 1 Watch's modular face is all the same color, except the large center module, which is grey. So, I have it set to white, so it all pretty much looks white, to match the white Sport band. Don't know how I feel about the battery module being colored. Kind of ruins the white motif for me. More options would be nice.

White is still available. The Modular and Utility faces have added a completely new "multi-colored" option which uses colored icons for Activity, sunrise, alarm, timer, weather, etc…

There's no multicolor option for utility. It's always colored

I upgraded to from WatchOS 1.0.1 to WatchOS 2 beta 5 last night. Now all Healthkit data (track record, awards) seems to be gone. Any way to get it back?

Furthermore the Health app does not seem to record anything today, since the upgrade. Do I now have to wait for Apple to upgrade iCloud, or is there any way to have iPhone and the watch communicate on progress again? My iPhone 6 was upgraded from iOS 9 beta 4 to beta 5 before this. Thanks a lot for any suggestions.

I too am having this issue, not the healthkit data loss, just that my heart rate data is no longer syncing back to my iphone. I know its measuring correctly on the watch because then i use the glance it tells me last measured bla bla bla. bu ton the heart rate section of the healthkit app, no data is shown since i upgraded

I just figured out a possible solution:
1) Opened Health app on iPhone and set up my missing medical ID (bottom right)
2) Switched off iPhone and Watch
3) Switched on iPhone and waited for it to boot up completely
4) Switched on Watch and - voila - all health and activity data were there again!!

My HR data is finally being taken/recorded every 10 minutes with this beta like it was under watchOS 1. Prior I had maybe 1 entry every hour, now I have 5-6 every hour.

Thanks. I'm going to wait until the official release. There is no way I'm taking a chance on losing that data. Although, if you're backing up your iPhone to iCloud, couldn't it be recovered by doing a restore?

No Luck here with that unfortunatly :(, However, if what mfalcao says is true its CHRISTMAS! Ive spent most of my summer creating a graphing app for heart rate data and it kind of relies on readings every 10 minutes! If anyones interested PM me, Im planning to run some testflight stuff. Just need to fix find a fix first though for getting the data off the watch with this beta....

Backups to iCloud don't work since I upgraded my iPhone from iOS 8.4 to 9.0 beta 4. Backups to iTunes somehow ceased to work a few days ago as well... However I can access my Activity data now.

So from what I see Beta 4 was a complete disaster. Siri barely functioned and the watch would disconnect reconnect from phone. Also it would randomly not turn on. Some new stuff I found (also could be from previous betas) New Butterflies, Flowers and Jellyfish, the 70 seconds (Odd choice)

Things not working: Timelapse Freezes constantly, Hey Siri doesn't work, Some Apps crash (normal). More stable still some bugs.

Yup. Seems like you hit it right where it hurts. Hope the next beta can be perfect. They should be close now

Since hey siri no longer works I hope battery life is a bit better at least

Is it just me, or does it seem strange Apple is only giving this 70 second wake time option as opposed to the short 12 second default? Why isn't this user adjustable from anywhere between 12 and 70 seconds, vs. only allowing these 2 specific selections?

And if there's some technical reason it's easier to only provide limited selections for it? Why 70 seconds and not 30 or 35? It just seems a bit extreme to me. I think most people complaining about the display turning off too quickly would be just fine with roughly doubling the length of time it stayed on, vs. running the battery down so quickly with 70 second long timeouts.

I unpaired, re-paired, and restored from backup and now I'm getting the 70-second wake time.
:)

I tried Hey Siri just now and it doesn't work. B4 had it spot on after previous Betas wrecked it.

Is anyone else having trouble accessing their own location through maps or the maps glance. Also can't get current location weather at all

Current location weather worked for me this way: Tapped weather in watch face, got to weather and received a message that a weather update was not available for this location (or similar wording). Then I pulled down that display in order to refresh and got updated weather for my current location.

EDIT: Own location does work here on WatchOS 2 beta 5.
