Apple Seeds First Beta of macOS Monterey 12.1 to Developers

Hey guys. So if I'm in stable version with stable profile. And I install the new 12.1 beta full installer on top of it. Using bootable recovery, installer itself etc.
1. Will my profile change from stable to beta?
2. If yes I can probably just go back to stable profile. Now if I'm back in stable profile, when the stable 12.1 build comes out. Do I get it also or not? And in the future do I get stable build then?

Random one - this beta seems to have fixed the irritating issue I was having with taps not being detected on my M1 Air trackpad that was driving me insane (having to press hard enough to register a haptic click instead of just tapping lightly). Does anyone know if they updated the trackpad driver etc with this one?
