I would try but my Watch 2 is out of commission right now. The digital crown lost it's ability to be pressed. I hope they add in the ability for devs to create custom watch faces. The Apple ones are generally lackluster except the chronograph ones. I wish they would have a classic Timex style or something similar patterned on the chronograph faces.

i done the update it always takes ages to download from server, but to me looks and acts the same, cant tell any difference the theatre mode is ok but nothing amazin, i wish there was a delete all feature for messages on watch

Notice any improvements to Siri?

Share some screenshots of the toggle of theatre mode. Good point about the messages I want that too.

all i want is a simple way to delete a new message when it comes in... a force touch to reply/delete, etc that's all i ask for...
and better apps from developers, cause there terrible.

Tech pleb here with a question: would future watchOS upgrade and install time be improved by APFS?

Hey, I haven't been able to install watch betas for a while now which is weird. I have the profile for the watch but I'm still stuck on watchOS 3.1.1. Tried reinstalling the profile but it doesn't seem to be working?

It is ridiculous how slow the update process for the Apple Watch is. The app is showing that it will take 46 minutes to upload this new beta to my watch. They've got to come up with a better way of doing this.

I usually love upgrading my devices, but absolutely dread watching the Watch's progress wheel. Its a great device that has really been life changing with how more active I've become, but this is the one glaring flaw

It's not necessarily the update that takes a longer duration. It's patching the a software update to the iPhone. That's what takes the longest. I do think over time, Apple will implement a quicker and more efficient way to download. The Apple Watch software is still a relatively new process.

It'd be nice if you didn't have to have you watch on the charger in order to update,

The strange thing is that the text in the watch app was changed to remove the bit saying you need to put the watch on the charger... however if you don't, you get an alert telling you to put it on the charger.

I wish they would bring back the lock icon to CC. There is no way to lock the device without taking it off your wrist.

Agreed. But I think the risk would be wome might try to update their watch with battery life lower than what they should have. And being that the software update draws battery power, if the Apple Watch shuts off in the middle of a software update because of low battery, that could be very problematic or brick the Watch.

oh yeah completely understand but it should be just like the iPhone "must be at least 50% battery Life in order to update or connect to a power source"
