I have the iPhone 12 Pro max and installed the beta yesterday. The pro raw file seems to be an 8-bit DNG (not 12-bit from what I read elsewhere). The file is also around 18mb not 25 (took several images).

Maybe it's more the alpha version rather than the beta?

Noticed using “Hey Siri” command, the new spherical Siri interface pops up even when your screen is locked. New addition or has it been there ever since 14.2?

Any leaks as to what Bluetooth codecs the AirPods studios may support? It’s about time we got higher bitrate support such as LDAC. AAC at 256kbps is far from studio quality.

Anyone else notice that in the podcast app 0.5x, 1.5x, and 2x speeds don’t work now? Audio plays at normal speed no matter what setting I choose. Same thing happens when I speed up videos in Netflix. The audio continues at normal speed but the video speeds up.

Anybody are having issues with the weather app and it’s widget? Because boths aren’t syncing , widget shows different info than the app and who knows which is correct I have turn it off location services for the weather then turn it on but that doesn’t fix the info that shows different temperatures, I am running iOS 14.3 beta 1 but also these issues are always in the official versions

Screen calibration for starters. I think you are the first I've ever heard suggesting Apple photos are over saturated and unnatural, most often the opposite is reported actually. On my calibrated screens and matched color profiles, they look spot on.

I thought it was 12 Pro only...
Hmm, maybe. But all images from other sources (previous cameras, stock images, etc.) look pretty normal. It's just the iphone images that sometimes get pretty saturated, most notably on product shots with bright colors, like bright yellow or red plastics as I was shooting some tool images the other day.

iPhone X. 256 storage. My phone updated to 14.3 bet a and am getting all sort of reboots and crashes. Most notably when I access anything photo related, ie viewing the photo rolls, sharing a picture via any app, uploading to FB or Reddit, it’ll freeze then reboot. If it doesn’t reboot automatically I have to do because then apps refuse to launch esp safari. It’ll just sit there trying to load the page but nothing happens.

anyone else see these issues?

how do I go back to 14.2 since having it reboot 50 times a day is beyond acceptable for me currently.

I just signed up for the public beta. Is there any harm in downloading 14.3 Beta 2 Public? What happens when 14.3 goes live? Do I update just as I would normally?
