Haven't experienced any delay issue in the beta or the final release, so you may need to post more details on the particular issue you are having to see if anyone else is and any potential suggestions to resolve it.
It's actually all over this thread. Since the upgrade to iOS 14, there's been an initial lag when typing a text for many users. Unfortunately, repeating and reporting it for every update hasn't gotten Apple to fix a bug with the most basic use of a phone

Something that various people have been running into with iOS 14:

I'd like the ability to set which Control Center HomeKit items show up in the main Control Center view without leaving it up to some AI to figure it out. I also want Control Center to show up when you swipe to the left on the home indicator to make the view switch to the right of the app you're currently in. Right now it's kinda useless and I think the control center should live there. Maybe a toggle to show the control center there or widgets.

At least you didn't say something like:
And if you don't like Apple's stuff exactly the way they give it to you, then get an Android...

It's kind of the mo of half the people on this forum.

Maybe if more people with ideas for making Apple stuff better before adding new features get a job there, we'll have stuff like texting work properly.

I mean, Android can be mad buggy, but I haven't hear of devices not texting well. Maybe some android devs should work at apple to make sure their iPhones still work as, you know, phones

Could someone please check and see if they made any changes to Headphone Safety Notifications in Sounds & Haptics? Are they still forcing the volume down on some iPhones without an ability to disable it?

I think if they had a panel of just customers to meet once a month to really let Apple know what there issues were we would all be a lot happier.

My phone memory is almost full after the last.3 update. Therefore can I update to this beta via itunes?

Apple today seeded the first betas of new iOS and iPadOS 14.4 updates to developers for testing purposes, two days after releasing the iOS 14.3 update that brought support for Apple Fitness+, AirPods Max, ProRAW for iPhone 12 models, and more.

iOS and iPadOS 14.4 can be downloaded through the Apple Developer Center or over the air after the proper profile has been installed on an iPhone or iPad.

We don't yet know what's included in the iOS 14.4 update, but it likely focuses on bug fixes and performance improvements that weren't able to be included in the iOS 14.3 release. As an 14.x update, it could also introduce new features and functionality.

Once we've downloaded the update and discovered what's new, we'll update this article.

Could Apple please, PLEASE, either remove completely or give the user the option to turn off the horrible "Volume Turned Down" notification. This is a TERRIBLE feature.

Didn’t .X releases used to come with nice new features? Why not do something like 14.3.1?
Indeed — this will almost certainly have new features; they just haven't been discovered yet. I expect an additional article about that any day now.
