I had the Dev profile and Beta 2. I removed the profile. Downloaded and installed the Public Beta profile. No updates, so it must be the same as Beta 2.

If you go to the website on your iPhone and you can’t download the profile because it shows “you must have an iOS device” change your setting to “request mobile site”.

I'm glad this public beta exists but it's not for me. It helps make the GM better that's for sure. Thanks to all of the beta testers who actively send in feedback!

I’d install on my iPhone but some of the Online Banking apps I use have issues
So it can wait a few weeks

Mind you it’s installing on my iPad 😁

After all these years, will users finally be able to sort reminders by name, due date, priority? It seems like Apple engineers never bothered to test the Reminders application with more than one item in a list.

Question, so if we have a Apple Watch on Watch OS 6 should we not install the iOS 14 public beta? Will there be any issues there or is it the reverse (you don't install the Watch OS7 beta without the phone being on iOS 14?)

Also is anyone seeing the new CarPlay functionality on the new iOS beta?

If it’s the same build as the developer beta, please be advised that Pokemon Go does not work and the Exposure Notification API is unavailable!

The new customer-facing features are completely broken, dunno what apple expects for the public beta testers to test. Seems like a rushed release.

A lot of the feedback in various developer beta threads seems to say pretty much otherwise.

Yep, known error in both betas released already. Have to install via a computer using the ipsw file. Hold shift key on windows or option key on mac and then click check for update to have it open a file window, select the ipsw so it upgrades properly.
