yes, they don’t refresh, are blank or in Dark mode when your phone is not in dark mode and so on
I did notice that the weather widget keeps returning to giving me Cupertino weather (that's not where I live) if I select "current location". Same issue with DB1 & DB2. That's honestly the only issue I have noticed so far though.

Yep, known error in both betas released already. Have to install via a computer using the ipsw file. Hold shift key on windows or option key on mac and then click check for update to have it open a file window, select the ipsw so it upgrades properly.
Where would I find the IPSW files for the Public Beta?

The new customer-facing features are completely broken, dunno what apple expects for the public beta testers to test. Seems like a rushed release.

Interesting. Beta 1 and beta 2 the features worked and updated fine with some known quirks. The new weather widget seems to have already incorporated some of the Dark Sky acquisition tech and saved me from getting rained on a few times...

really they just want people to catch the bugs. It's what testing is for. Also, it's related to the dev beta, which is to focus on developers getting their software up to the latest version.

Sounds like you need to stay on the regular release :)

Wow I am actually surprised considering the „other storages“ bug and widgets being all over the place
Exactly I would of guessed they would’ve at least waited til beta 3. I am not installing the public beta bc of the huge other storage issue

Currently debating whether to install it on my backup phone (an iPhone 6S, which is currently running iOS 12).
Is it worth forfeiting iOS 12? 🤔
if it's a backup phone, I would if you're curious - but
1) backup phone to iCloud (or computer) before installing the profile
2) download profile and install and have fun and please use the feedback app.

3) if it's too buggy, remove the profile, reset your phone and and restart with your backup.

lucky! For me the weather app itself doesn’t even work for me anymore. Like it doesn’t refresh the weather for anything but my current location. All I get is a - under each city. Happened 3 days before the end of beta 1 and continues on beta2

Not sure who needs to do what, if you think that Apple is not aware of the bugs related to the new features in the current build. As a developer, I just shared my opinion, which is that the beta release does not seem suitable for public beta. Of course, it is up to Apple to decide what and when they want to ship, but this is why we have this forum - to share our thoughts and to possibly help people who are not sure if they want to install the beta now or to wait a little longer. Not sure what's wrong with that. Sounds like you need to be more respectful to others' opinions, when using a public platform like this one.

Still says "coming soon" for me. I need that

In the update panel it says Big Sur, but in the download panel it says Catalina 10.15.6 PB 2. Not sure what I'm downloading right now.

Edit: Don't think it's out, yet :(

Oooooh how I want to upgrade, but the fear of banking apps not working holds me back.
(In Sweden, if the Bank-ID App doesn't work, you're sh%t out of luck...)

Most stable iOS in years.

Can't fault it, running the Dev version on my main iPhone.

No issues with apps, (even my bank which is unusual).
Great! Downloading now on my primary phone and hope the bank apps will continue to work. I haven't got so excited about an iOS release in a long time and couldn't wait for the final version. So will be first time using a beta iOS. Let's see.
