I think it's pathetic yet true that most of us are excited about having an option to change the keyboard layout to dark mode. :D
Can't wait for the jailbreak.

Yeah, developers are used as more forgiving members of the public who will use the products in normal everyday life and report back on problems. Rather than Apple giving it to the public and being slated that it has problems from the whole population.

Thanks, that's what I thought.

I don't know why they are fixing non critical issues. The music app and iTunes Match are a mess. My music app constantly has issues using Bluetooth or AirPlay and it skips around or just doesn't work and this is on multiple devices.

I agree. My music app is a mess with it randomly stopping songs and then playing but no sound.

For those that don't experience this when answering a long Disqus powered comment threads the web page can get massively bigger than the memory size and obvious memory paging when trying to reply and with each new line wrap. Problem is the paging is very crash prone andyou can crash back to springboard an occasionally a total iOS reset. Happens so often on my iPad 3 I never reply to a thread live but use Notes and then paste the reply in, and still happens frequently on the iPhone 5s too.

Must be WebKit since it doesn't matter which browser app you use.

As far as I'm concerned its the most serious bug in ios7
So that's what's going on with disqus. What a freaking unusable mess on iOS. It drives me nuts so much I don't bother replying most of the time.

The dark keyboard is something I want. I wish they will go further in the future and create a 'dark' theme. iOS 7 is way too bright when you're looking at your phone in the dark at night. It almost feels like staring into the sun.

Now it makes sense.

Maybe all of this "darken colors" and "increase contrast" stuff is to cover up for the lousy iPad mini displays. This will help them not look so washed out.

This guy clearly does not own an iPad mini with Retina display, or played with one. Useless troll is useless.

Well he said iPad mini with a bad display, it couldn't be the iPad mini with Retina Display, could it?

Are you a developer? These betas are not for new features, they're for bug fixes and API's. Even if they do add some features, it'll be near the GM of the beta. These are not meant for people to install just to expect new things.

Yeah. I'm registered and installed 7.1 on a registered device (ipad3) which I use for testing. I have also got an ipad air which is not registered and I've got 7.0.4 on that.

Of course I don't expect a whole lot of new features in a beta.

I was just saying that this update isn't really something to get excited about.

7.1 appears to have resolved the intermittent 'scan lines' or 'refresh' issue that I have seen.

You'd prefer more (smaller) keys? What would your solution be?

Just to add 2 cents. Maybe like it used to be in iOS 6, a .com button that was pretty obvious "intuitive". Of course if you need to stand on one foot and face north when the keyboard appears that works too. <sigh>

I was hoping the Music app had been changed. The "now playing" screen in the Apple Remote app is much, much superior to the Music app. It's absolutely gorgeous.

I know!!! I wish there was a "dark theme" for the music player. That would be so nice.
