I know!!! I wish there was a "dark theme" for the music player. That would be so nice.

I just wish it would stop being so pink and white. Clashes with almost every single album artwork.

Normally I'm all over betas like a rash but I don't have any real reason to test this one out. No interest in dark keyboards or themes, I bought a white iPhone because I thought it looked best with iOS 7. And no other real features.

I'm just glad to read that animations are fixed...That, and Safari is faster. Everything else works fine for me.

On the iPad, in landscape mode, we often see a column of items on the left and a big section on the right. In an app with such a split screen, IF the left column has a tab bar, and IF you bring up the keyboard, something new happens. The tabs at the bottom of the screen rise up to stay above the keyboard! You can switch tabs with the keyboard up.

One of my apps does this, but I can't think of a standard app that has a tabbed column that illustrates this. There must be a few apps where this helps..

YouTube is a mess on iPads. The comments section freezes when scrolling. Can't do anything except watch videos. Nothing life-threatening of course but would be nice to use an iPad for one of the things it was made for.

YES, I HAVEN'T GOTTEN TO SAY THIS FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS...It's a beta :D

I think if they implemented the colour changing background algorithm for the albums they used in iTunes 11, that would be best :) I'm guessing that's just wishful thinking though...

Yeah. I'm registered and installed 7.1 on a registered device (ipad3) which I use for testing. I have also got an ipad air which is not registered and I've got 7.0.4 on that.

Of course I don't expect a whole lot of new features in a beta.

I was just saying that this update isn't really something to get excited about.

Cool, I'll admit I read more into your post than you meant, sorry :)

And to the guy above, obviously not. These forums are getting toxic lately, miss how it was a few years ago when people were not so negative and nitpickey about every little thing.

iOS7 update beta issued: Doesn't fix hideousness, full of even more bugs.
Could upgrade from iOS6: Not updating because iOS7 is hideous and full of bugs.

Relevance:

Hideous and full of bugs.

One less person to tie up apples DL servers then...

Anybody try to add a new device to the DEV portal today? I added a new iphone over an hour ago but I still can't activate it via the phone or iTunes after installing 7.1

Yep. Tried installing the beta then realized I replaced my phone between 7.0 and release and now. Added the device and i still cant activate. There's a thread of posts in the dev forums with people having the same problem. I rolled back to 7.0.4 just fine via DFU mode. May need to do that till tomorrow and try again.

Bummers! I didn't even realize until after I had already installed the Beta. Phone is also my alarm clock, need to wake up for work :)

Full of bugs? Now, yes, iOS 7 definitely still has its fair share of bugs. But it's not "full of bugs". It's really not that bad for most people. Either way, the bugs will be fixed. But if you don't like the way it looks, you might want to consider finding another tablet from another company. Aside from small refinements, this is the new iOS.
