Does this fix the bug in macOS 13 where if you move a tab out of safari it freaks out

Has anyone been having music playback issues? My M1 Max MBP will start the song for 3 second and stop.. It's annoying as I play music while I study

I have no issues with my personal usage with two AS Macs. Safari with beta 3 rarely needed empty memory cache, just once observed over the last 2 weeks. It should be based on what software you are using. Everything I use with latest updates is OK. These MacOS betas have installed fairly fast.
I have major issues with beta 3 with Intel iMac 5K 2019. Kernel panics, freezes, lost bluetooth connections... Sent more than 10 bug reports. Often freezes after 10 min without use after login.

Those are examples of people running Ventura fine with Intel iMacs. Logically one would have a iMac backed up, and go back to a previous MacOS you didn’t have hardware like issues with a clean install.

Does anyone know if the USB-C -> DisplayPort bugs have been solved in this beta?

Every time I wake up from sleep my monitor wouldn't come back until I disconnected / reconnected the cable :(

Thanks a lot. I‘m still figuring out what it can be. New install didn’t help. Behavior started with 13.0 beta 3.
backup is of course available 🤪

You literally can go back to any version you didn't have a problem with your model, using a full installer. You can try operating the iMac in safe mode first before you do a lot.

Start up your Intel-based Mac in safe mode

  1. Turn on or restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key until you see the login window.
  2. Log in to your Mac.
  3. You might be asked to log in again.
On either the first or second login window, you should see “Safe Boot” in the menu bar.

If you want you can do a wipe disk and use internet macOS installer, for a clean install.

Is anyone still having issues with external drives and Time Machine backups? This is the third beta now where my drive won't connect to my MacBook, I've reported it but nothing so far.

Is the battery drain issue fixed. Ventura drained 100% more power (18 watts on idle) than Monterey (9 watts on idle)
That’s why I rolled back to Monterey.
16” M1 Pro in use.

Not gonna update. New system prefs is a disaster. It does not make sense to mimick ios.

You can use the pull down menu under view to see an alphabetical list view in Mac System Settings rather then look for things nestled in the groupings of the system settings window.

I really like this way of accessing system settings.

Hope it does it's horrible right now, if you turn on stage manger it's even worst for overall windows management over multiple monitor setups

Thanks a lot for your help Realityck. It seems 13.1 beta 4 solved the issues which were there with my mac. No freezes anymore so far...
