Apple Seeds Fourth Betas of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 to Developers

I hadn’t checked for RCS on Visible for awhile so I don’t know if b4 had anything to do with it but I now have the RCS dial. Just no one to test it with as Google doesn’t allow it on the new pixel my green bubble absolutist friend got.

Edit: friend didn’t realize he had it because it wasn’t showing up for “some contacts” aka iPhone users; on with a visible agent now

I skipped the re-release of iOS 18 DB 3 and now it shows iOS 18 DB 4 to be 6.88 GB on iPhone 13 Pro

Now that iOS 17.6 RC is available, I'm thinking of going back to iOS 17 like when I stayed with iOS 16.7 even when iOS 17 was released...

And my iOS 18 DB 4 prediction was 1 day early while I did not expect iOS 17.6 RC
 
I was thinking about installing the beta so I could use RCS with my wife (she uses a Pixel 8), but I'm on GSM US Mobile, and their CS rep said they won't be enabling it until final is out. Has anyone heard any different?

We've been using Messenger for some time, but I would like to use the native app.

    For C-based languages, the clang static analyzer might note if the object is leaked. No source code changes are required, but they are encouraged to fix the leak.
    For Swift, this changes the return type of these functions from Unmanaged<> to the actual CF type returned, which will require a source change to fix when compiling with newer SDKs. However, Swift programs compiled with older SDKs will continue to work on the new OSes, though the returned CF type object will continue to leak as it did prior to this change. (126154509)

It would appear RCS is now able to be enabled on Xfinity Mobile, but it does not seem to be working still. Turned the setting on and off, also restarted the phone a couple of times, and nothing has worked so far. Even deleted an SMS thread to see if it would pick up as RCS.
