Why did Macrumors ignored iOS 12.5.5??
If you need a thread to post on your experience on that build, you can post it here

Beta three has been hell.

-If you're on a call with carplay and you turn off the phone screen it ends the call.
-If you turn on speakerphone its on for the rest of the call you can hit speaker as much as you want it toggles on and off on the screen but speakphone stays on.

Since iOS 15
Exchange calendars are just totally screwed. I open my calendar and all the meetings are mixed up. I wait a good 30 seconds it refreshes and clears up. Then I click a meeting to open it 30 seconds.... it opens. I have invites try to view them wait. Click accept on an invite wait etc.

Are you still having the Exchange Calendar issue on 15.1 beta 4?

It’s a ridiculously serious bug (a dealbreaker) and it’s driving me crazy!

I downgraded my iPhone back to iOS 15.0 – not having the issue. Only on 15.1 is the issue still there. Takeaway, I am hesitant to update my iPhone to 15.1 until confirmed resolved.

Note, I did update my iPad to iPadOS 15.1 beta 4 this afternoon – and I do believe the Calendar bug is still present.

The phone issue seems to be resolved for me - specifically the speaker button not working correctly and dropping the call when you go to the home screen if you lock the phone. That’s fixed. It was a horrific bug

But isn't that the point of signing up to become a beta tester?

It is, I've always been a beta tester and I've never had any type of major issues until 15.1 B3. Overheating and battery drain impacts my day to day usage greatly and isn't something I wanted to put up with anymore.

Hey, I completely understand, I thought (maybe naively) that some people that running betas would be doing so on alternate hardware.

Can you swipe the sidebar away in Safari when showing bookmarks?
At the moment you can only dismiss the sidebar (in landscape orientation) when you tap all the way back to the top level.

My HomePods are grabbing 15.1 today, no BETA profile on any of them. Has to be the first time a new feature release is being released as GA to HomePod before it's being released for iOS/iPadOS?View attachment 1864064
Same here on my iPad but I have the public beta profile. It’s downloading 15.1, probably the public beta just not labeled as such.

I’ll update this thread in a couple days. I’ve noticed that a reboot sometimes makes the calendar move alright for a day or so then I start seeing it again. I usually notice in the mornings since my mornings are always a ton of meetings/invites.

Edit: nevermind a couple days posted this and decided to check out what tomorrow morning looks like switching days takes a good ten seconds plus.

No swipe, but they’ve finally kept the dismiss button visible while viewing bookmarks, so you no longer need to go back up to the top level to close it! Better still it remembers where you were so if you dismiss it while in a bookmark folder it reopens in that bookmark folder next time 😀

Hmm very buggy and unresposive this update. No just I had to write this message in my Notes up as keyboard did not showed up within this froum but my major issue is that I am unable to click on any of my bookmarks in the favourite bar in Safari under the search. I am on IPad Pro and its very unresposive …. looks safari has problems with touch

FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC!!
That’s great news, now I can turn the favourites bar off again. Thanks for checking for me.

Was happy to update hoping it fixed the Carplay bugs that were fixed in the public 15.0.2 release.

Nope.

My wife's phone works fine in Carplay while most audio applications still do not work on mine.

I now wonder if we are patched for that big zero day exploit that 5.0.2 was supposed to patch as well.
