Can anyone confirm whether or not the star rating system in the Music app (as opposed to the hearts) is still gone in iOS 10? I had read in a previous discussion that it's gone, but I've been hoping it would come back before GM / release. With tens of thousands of songs, many in playlists based partly or solely on how many stars they have, I really don't know if I will upgrade to iOS 10...
Hearts only. And the invisible button still invisible.

I know that I risk sounding like a total n00b, but those who are not currently enrolled in the public beta cannot sign up now, right?

Asking for a friend...

Yeah just tried to install the profile but the link to enroll isn't available anymore

****

Wierder part is after 10.0.1 installation it still shows 10GM update available
My iPad Air 2 did the same double update dance. After the first update said 10.0.1, but I don't remember what build it installed the first time. My iPhone 6 only updated once.

Both ended up on 10.0.1 (14A403).

Does anyone know which version of ios 10 is on new iphone? Is it early version of ios 10? because those phones were made much earlyer than ios 10 realease.

It kills me that it's gone, but I've updated. Star-based playlists still work, you just can't see or set star ratings on iOS 10.

I'm still hoping that they'll add it back. I'm going to report it as a bug again.

Same. Shows up as 10.0.1.
[doublepost=1473278533][/doublepost]No new wallpapers.

Strange the update screen stated 10.0 but after install shows 10.0.1 in about screen (only once here)

Be sure to back up! I just tried to do it and got an error 14, which happens when you don't have Xcode downloaded. It forces you to redownload and restore your iPhone to 9.3.5 (I think that is the number).

I don't know how you are trying to install it, but I've never had Xcode installed when updating to a GM and it has always worked. Where did you get it from? PM me if you can.

Apparently there aren't any new wallpapers - so iOS 10 only has one new one overall, the default. It's a shame because I was looking forward to them!

Just checked, seems the ability to star a song is still not there in iOS 10 GM...

Can anyone else confirm this? I haven't seen this Announce Calls option in Settings>Phone until now after installing the GM..

May have found a iOS 10 GM link. Throwing me off though because site has it as 10.0.1 Beta 1 but it shows the GM release notes. Guess I'll take a chance.

I'd hold off on it as some people have reported an error 14, which means it will look to restore to 9.3.5 if you don't have a way to get back to public betas of iOS 10. This assume you were running iOS 10 public beta. If you were on iOS 9.x.x, I'd run a backup first then try it.

Personally, I just updated to the GM and it worked fine for me using a Mac on the latest public beta of Sierra.

The site does say you need Xcode beta before installing. Provides a link too. I may try my iPad Air 2 first as that is the least important device for me.
