More bug fixes, because it is a short 2 or 3 beta with RC cycle. Yes it enabled some features as the OP listed. Like Safari, Mail, Music, Apple TV as examples. 17.4 will have more features again and be 4 or 5 beta cycle with RC. Possibly some hardware associated with it.Question for people who have tried an iOS 17.3 beta: Does iOS 17 contain more bug fixes than new features, or does it contain more new features than bug fixes?
Uff who should answer such a question in a meaningful way. There are so many changes under the hood probably that aren’t mentioned in any kind of public changelog.Question for people who have tried an iOS 17.3 beta: Does iOS 17 contain more bug fixes than new features, or does it contain more new features than bug fixes?
It’s boringly solid most things I use a iPhone for. Even the info on recent calls shows now, rather then delayed.Downloading now on public beta. I’m going to regret this.
Installed on 13 mini, seems ok, but i still have stutters sometimes, when i drag the control center down. So it seems that i need to upgrade to a new iPhone lol, as they slow down the old ones...Downloading now on public beta. I’m going to regret this.
Considering not verifying your home location and Face ID is working property, why would someone enable that as a default? It should always be an option, especially since it’s likely to see security tweaks that people recommend in 17.4.You would think that Stolen Device Protection is enabled by default, but did a fresh setup of an iPhone with fingerprints enrolled.. and nope, it's weirdly opt in, lol.
For me it is nuisance because cannot use only pin when face access is not viable and i never enter pin when there is possibility to be observed by someone. Yes it should be always optional, always.Considering not verifying your home location and Face ID is working property, why would someone enable that as a default? Have tried turning off beta updates after installation?Anyone else keep getting notices to install the update even after it has already been installed. Did they release an updated RC or is this another bug? I am on my third install since yesterday. This is happening on both my IP 15 PM and 6th Gen iPad Pro.
It’s a new feature. I could imagine when it’s more common & improved it will become the standard in the future. You would think that Stolen Device Protection is enabled by default, but did a fresh setup of an iPhone with fingerprints enrolled.. and nope, it's weirdly opt in, lol.

Check back on Monday or Tuesday for 17.3 release, or the RC for public beta testers is available.Updated my iPad Pro to 17.2 last week from 15. Now my WiFi stops working dozens of times a day. Seems to be affecting many people. How about fixing this Apple??? Don’t need more useless features!
