Unfortunately, you can't. It is likely an upcoming release will not work with the older architecture. Now, I cannot remove the red badge on Settings.app forcing me to update the Home architecture. I don’t have a hub so I don’t want to. How do I remove this?

I was the same as you - ignored the badge (and turned off badges on the Home app) as I have an old iPad that I occasionally used to control my lights. However, I updated the architecture recently as felt I should move with the times.
For those unaware, the main difference between the old and new architecture is how Home deals with hubs. I don't have a home hub (Homepod, Apple TY) so the architecture upgrade did nothing for me apart from removing the badge 😁
For beta testers: yes. For the rest: on release day.Does Apple Intelligence work in the EU?
Why am I not seeing anything about the photos app updates anymore? Hoping we’re still going to be able to see what photos are NOT in an album.
it was off by default for me. you’ll see it in the notification settings under apple intelligence.Has anyone had a priority notification show up? I’ve gotten a few notifications today that I thought would be considered priority, but nothing showed so far.
What about automations? If I'm not mistaken, a hub is required to run those...and the new architecture doesn't support the iPad as being a hub anymore.Unfortunately, you can't. It is likely an upcoming release will not work with the older architecture.

Damn thank you for your comment. I just checked and it's back 🥳Are the iPhone 15 Pro Wallpapers still missing?
They've been reinstated since 18.4 b1. 🙌Are the iPhone 15 Pro Wallpapers still missing?
I don't know, as my old iPad is the first gen iPad mini on iOS 9, so I never had that functionality. What about automations? If I'm not mistaken, a hub is required to run those...and the new architecture doesn't support the iPad as being a hub anymore.
My parents use their iPad as a hub for their kitchen uplights (turning on/off and changing colors at certain times). They don't have, nor do they care to have, an Apple TV or HomePod. I wonder if you can rig up an automation through the Shortcuts app instead, or does that require a hub as well?
Let Apple know then please!RC iOS 18.4 crashes the phone if you use the Find My App.
Working fine here on my 16.RC iOS 18.4 crashes the phone if you use the Find My App.
Happened to me as well yesterday, just submitted feedback.RC iOS 18.4 crashes the phone if you use the Find My App.
Looks like it. Not installing it myself, I need my phone for work.Oooooooooh. My 'Find my' app doesn't like this RC version. It conks out after being opened for about 10 seconds then the phone shuts down.
RC2 next Monday?
Apple needs an iOS version without a single new feature. Spend a year on bug extermination. I’m still plagued with a significant Mail bug introduced in 18.0 (both iPadOS and iOS). It’s ridiculous. Steve Jobs would have gone Krakatoa on the iOS team for this kind of sloppiness. Please 🙏 fix a bug, any bug. Stop throwing new bugs at me and just squash one. I beg you.
