Apple needs an iOS version without a single new feature. Spend a year on bug extermination. I’m still plagued with a significant Mail bug introduced in 18.0 (both iPadOS and iOS). It’s ridiculous. Steve Jobs would have gone Krakatoa on the iOS team for this kind of sloppiness.

Bugs are very beneficial. Ohhhhh... you mean softwae bugs. Please enlighten us to a bug that's interfering with your daily usage.

OneDrive crashes after 10 seconds. SSO account. Known issue. Microsoft support blames Apple. Introduced in iPad OS 18.3, squashed in 18.4 betas, brought back in 18.4RC.

Should I download the RC Beta? Or should I wait till next week? I want to try Apple Intelligence on my iPad, and I have been waiting for a long time because I live in the EU

You’d get it sooner but it would be a much bigger update. I was on the previous version and downloaded some extra 7gb for the RC. I always assumed it doesn’t all add up over time because some code replaces some other, but it still adds up to quite a lot.

I don’t know about iPadOS but I don’t think it’s worth it if you’ve waited already so long for it.
